I am aware that some really like Santorum, but it is becoming obvious that he is acting in his own best interest and the end result is that we will get Mitt. Mitt does not share Santorum’s views on social issue. In addition, Santorum does not have a problem running attack ads against Newt, but does not go after Mitt. While the attacks by FReepers are unfortunate, the consequences of Santorum’s actions are far worse.

Have a good evening.

He’s getting whinier and more despicable by the day...or as was said of “Rooster” (his nickname in public school because of his demeanor (strutting?)

Really?

Santorum's nickname in school was "Rooster?" LOL Hilarious!

Seems like Eddie Haskell, or as someone said, he's like that kid in school who reminds the teacher she forgot to assign homework.

Yep -- the class goody two-shoes who grows up to become a politician who boasts in his own campaign literature about voting to raise the national minimum wage, increasing funds to expand Headstart, and working to prevent Congress from making cuts to the food stamp program.

Yep, that's Santorum -- the "real conservative" in the race ... er, correction: the "real compassionate conservative" in the race. Oh boy.

GODSPEED NEWT GINGRICH.

Newt looked so good on Hannity tonight. So presidential. He knows exactly where he stands in the race and what he has to do.

Great comments at a rally in Nevada - standing O’s galore.

Lots of big money and flashy TV ads, and constant cutthroat lies about Newt, which Newt lacks the money to fight, OR the obsessive MSM focus on Romney, every time a report comes on, the first face we see is Romney, all presented in a good light. Newt, all bad and in a poor light.

And the so called “Republicans” who are voting for Romney don't care to even look briefly at HOW Romney is winning. He is doing it with completely vicious attacks, lies and corrupt, ruthless tactics. And this is what they think will make a “good” President?

Romney will betray all of us if he wins. For anyone here who thinks I am wrong about Romney, all I can say to you is;........SUCKER.........!

Then you will be severely surprised when Romney wins the nomination and brings Santorum into his organization. (Perhaps even VP, almost like Romney has cut an inside deal with Santorum already.)

Santorum cannot win, not even by the numbers. He lacks appeal and always has. If Santorum really cared about this country, he would drop out to let Newt win.

Santorum was never a strong Conservative when he was a Senator, but he is being raised to a level that he clearly does not deserve, and those who support him, are also contributing to the ruination of this country. What is most sad about this is, those who support him don't care either, or are too ignorant to see it.

Realclearpolitics .com has had Newt leading for quite a while, and now shows them at a virtual tie.

We shoud broadcast that fact and be upbeat as Newt.

Pyscho FREEP,
You constantly bash a good Christian man. I know we have some atheists on FR and you are one of them but dang must you constantly bash the Christians? Now as for you nonsense. Santorum is the ONLY one who can beat Obama and here is the proof.....don’t cry there.

The purpose of the polls at this time of the year is to scare people off. The media sponsors a lot of these polls and the effort is to say that any Republican other than Mittens is unelectable. My bet in November is on whoever the Tea Party supports (and it won’t be Obama).
