GOP ‘Sons-A-Bitches’ Going Soft On Gunwalking, Says Blogger Who Broke ‘Fast And Furious’
TPM Muckraker ^ | 2/3/12 | Ryan J. Reilly

Mike Vanderboegh is drinking Diet Mountain Dew in the cafeteria of the Rayburn building on Capitol Hill, and he is pissed.

Not because his flight from Alabama was almost “as bumpy as [his] first marriage,” nor because he almost got into a physical altercation with an “idiot street urban adventurer” outside the National Archives who said Vanderboegh looked like Newt Gingrich.

The former militia man turned gun rights blogger is angry because he thinks the Republican “sons-a-bitches” on the House Oversight Committee put on the “ultimate display of public limp dickery” during a Thursday hearing in which Attorney General Eric Holder testified about ATF’s botched Operation Fast and Furious.

It was Vanderboegh who in late 2010, following the death of border patrol agent Brian Terry, published the first hint that the federal government told gun dealers to sell semi-automatic weapons to suspected “straw purchasers” they believed were buying them for drug cartels.

Donations from readers of his Sipsey Street Irregulars blog helped him fly out to Washington, D.C. this week for the hearing. Sporting a homemade press pass in a badge holder branded with an NRA logo, Vanderboegh watched from behind the press table as Republicans grilled Holder about what he knew when about the flawed operation in which agents lost track of about 2,000 weapons, many of which have been found at crime scenes in Mexico.

Vanderboegh wasn’t impressed.

That potty-mouth garbage is a staple of the Left.
So we should say male bovine fecal matter instead of calling things, in a straightforward manner, the bull sh*t that it is?

The GOP and the Jackasses are flip sides of the same coin. The only people held accountable are outsiders.

“pissed/ sons-a-bitches’ — I don’t know, too crass for me. We have so many marvelous words in the English language to convey large feelings .... This turned me off to reading the article.

I know you don't know Mike Vanderboegh from Adam, but I do. He is a good man, fighting evil. He is a patriot, a Christian family man, and a leader of men.

His salty mouth probably comes from a) his backwoods raising, b) his former Communist friends (yes, he freely admits he used to be a Communist, but did a total 180), or c) his time as a militia leader.

This is not to excuse his crassness, but perhaps to help you understand it a little.

And if somebody calls you a sphincter instead of something more crude do you still get the gist of their insult despite their having used a $2.00 word?

If I get to vote in this, I say, tell it like it is.....I'm used to the "potty-mouth" being married to a sailor for many years, I don't get offended easily by straight forward talk. Just keep the "F" word to a minimum.LOL

These cheese eating surrender monkeys aka the GOP in Washington make the French look like tough guys.

Between the whole lot they couldn’t find a set of balls if you threw them all into a McDonalds play place ball pit.

Utterly gutless beyond belief.

No vote is necessary, IMO. I try to stay in the guidelines Mr. Jim has set. I'm a sailor and construction man myself and I had to learn to curb my tongue around my children and women.
It's difficult, yet it can be done. Sometimes you just have to cuss.

“When I want my men to remember something important, to really make it stick, I give it to them double dirty. It may not sound nice to some bunch of little old ladies at an afternoon tea party, but it helps my soldiers to remember. You can’t run an army without profanity; and it has to be eloquent profanity. An army without profanity couldn’t fight it’s way out of a piss-soaked paper bag.”

That from General Patton-—and it seems that the Republican party is exactly as he states they are.

The Republican party could not fight their way out of a piss-soaked paper bag.

The Republican party will cave in on Fast and Furious like a sand castle caves in to an Ocean wave.

Thanks for clarifying; I’m darned feisty myself, and I’m all for fighting evil. Just made me not want to read what he was trying to communicate.

I cant believe these idiots in the GOP have not brought Newell back to testify. He specifically said that he was at OCEDEF meeting on this with Irs, DEA, FBI, ATF and they all came up with this.

Then why are you wasting our time with a comment, princess?

When did "conservative" become synonymous for "church lady?"

If you know him so well, ask him what he expects the Republicans to do.

They picked up the story. They screamed about it to every media outlet that would have them. They have called six hearings and demanded thousands of documents. Issa has threatened Holder with contempt and has been all over FOX News.

What does your friend actually expect?

The media DON'T CARE!!! They are protecting Obama! CNN ran footage from yesterday's hearing and took HOLDER'S SIDE!!!

“It really is time for a 3rd party. There is nothing to lose at this point.”

Up until a couple weeks or so ago, I’d have disagreed vehemently. But as what passes for the top two candidates continue to bleed support, I’ve become convinced there’s no beating Obama this time around. The GOP bosses don’t want victory in the Presidential race. The responsibility of leading is simply too daunting for them.

...finding for contempt of Congress instead of repeated threats of same would be a nice start....

an ultimatum to the administration would be even better
