It’s time to simply start closing libraries. They served their purpose, just like the Ice Man, the Milk Man, the Egg Man, etc. They are relics of another age. Keep the books stored away for our post-EMP days, but end the concept of the public library.
...and make DAMN SURE that the librarians understand that it was THEIR ATTITUDE that caused them to be tossed out of work.
The viewers aren’t watchimg porn, they are conducting socialogical studies on library users and their reaction to the appearance of someone watching porn.
Geez! Didn’t you know that? They probably have an 18 million dollar Federal grant for the study, too.

I have a 92 year old father who is scammed by Nigerian internet scammers. We destroyed the internet port on his computer at home, so he goes to the public library to do it. I have reported it to the city library - but they won’t do anything about it. Same principle - a crime is being committed at a public facility using city equipment. Yu would think they would be held complicit in the crime of elder abuse.
40's and 50's for this geezer...and the 60's were a shock even as a young adult.

Nasty horrible people go there. The screens aren’t safe and the bathrooms aren’t safe. Since my nine-year-old got attacked in a bathroom, we don’t go unless I escort them.

The only reason pornography is legal is because porn producers, Larry Flynt in particular, the ACLU and a leftist dominated SCOTUS decided that obscenity, sexually graphic images and now live sex shows fall under the "freedom of the press". Utter nonsense. And Librarians are ultra leftists (or enough of them to steer the boat that way).
SEPARATION OF LIBRARIES AND STATE! Stop wasting tax money or worse than wasting it, using it to provide perverts with their porn fix! Libraries could be private with small fees, or public but TOTAL local control and tell the ACLU and ALA to stuff it!!!

That is why it does matter what goes on in someone's bedroom. It doesn't stay there, because the practitioners gravitate into public service jobs like librarians, school teachers, politicians, judges, scout leaders.......
