Yeah same here!

I noticed when it first came in on the iPad it was a little blurry, but it quickly cleared up to really sharp. Took about a minute or two.

You can watch it on an iPhone too.

LOL! I don’t know I just automatically tune the commercials out.

Hmmm I guess Chevy must have tested it to make sure their trucks can survive Armageddon?

Alright! It’s pretty cool how you can swap the camers, screens and even see all the stats.

I’m just waiting for the all the channels to sell their live programing to people with Tablets, Computers and phones. Thus, bypassing the cable companies. It’s only a matter of time.

(Government Motors) GM, Ford feud over Super Bowl ad

GM, Ford feud over Super Bowl ad

(Reuters) - A simmering feud between General Motors Co and Ford Motor Co heated up on Sunday as Ford objected to GM’s Super Bowl advertisement for its Chevy Silverado pickup truck.

The ad, which will run on NBC’s television broadcast of the Super Bowl on Sunday, depicts an apocalyptic scene in which Chevrolet Silverado pickup trucks and their owners escape death and make it to a pre-arranged meeting point.

But, one of their friends, identified as “Dave,” who drives a Ford, doesn’t make it to the meeting site, in the video that plays off the idea that the ancient Mayans predicted the world would end in 2012.

A letter from Ford attorney Lynne M. Matuszak says that according to insurance industry data it is Ford, and not GM, that makes the safer pickup truck and she called on GM not to use the ad. GM has refused to pull the spot.

GM has had the advertisement on its website for a few days, and a posting on YouTube by Sunday afternoon had been viewed 1.6 million times. GM stands by the ad and its claims.

“Ford insists that Chevrolet refrain from running the commercial during (Sunday’s) Super Bowl; refrain from any future use of the commercial; and permanently remove the commercial from its website, its YouTube and Facebook pages and any other Internet sites,” Matuszak wrote.

Jim Farley, Ford’s global sales and marketing chief, told reporters on sidelines of the National Automobile Dealers Association convention in Las Vegas on Sunday that despite the GM claim that pickup truck registrations over the past 30 years support the ad’s claim, Ford will fight the commercial.

“But, one of their friends, identified as “Dave,” who drives a Ford, doesn’t make it to the meeting site.”

“Open the door, it’s Dave.”

“Dave’s not here, man.”

Etc. What’s this latest spat, Chevy and Chong?

I beg to differ, Uncle Ike - herpes is a virus and I wouldn't come within ten yards of that slut. As far as I am aware, there is no cure for herpes, and it would not surprise me if any computer virus I might pick up from exposure to her performance would be incurable as well.

On a serious note, the people responsible for these Super Bowl halftime shows are modern pagans with no regard for the sensibilities of their audience - they pander to the lowest, crudest and vilest elements of our population.

They have turned the ancient maxim regarding the purpose of Art, "dulce et utile," on its head to pursue and appeal to the lowest common denominator - no sweetness, no elegance, no usefulness and no value.

Just my $.02.

I agree with you in principle — I haven’t watched a SB Halftime show since SB-X....

I have an i7 64-bit and 6 GB of RAM.

Just thought I'd put that out there, and GO GIANTS! I'm not so much a giants fan as I absolutely despise the Patriots.

Thanks, I think I’m going with SPEEDbit Acceleration Pack. I’ve got 6 computers, so why not.

I've been using Download Accelerator Plus (aka Speedbit) for years its been great.

The video downloader was not allowing the iTunes store to load recently. That is the first minor issue I have ever had with it. The solution was to shut down the video accelerator. Then run the iTunes store and it works. However, I'm sure they resolved that by now?? I just have not checked it. Nevertheless, it usually works great with iTunes. Every three months or so I check to see if there is an update.

Other than that little blip that's easy to fix it's been great! You will not be disappointed.
