FLORENCE, Ariz. - An officer-involved shooting may have involved as many as seven illegal immigrants.
The shooting occurred just outside of Florence, near the Hunt Highway and Felix. Thats about 60 miles southeast of the valley.
An officer with the Florence Police Department attempted to pull over a black pickup truck that stuck out to that officer for a couple of reasons.
No. 1 -- this happened early in the morning, so there weren't many vehicles out on the road, and No. 2 -- the officer says the truck appeared to be having some mechanical problems.
Just before 7 a.m., the officer ran the license tag on the black 1995 Ford Ranger and discovered it was registered to an address in Tucson -- and its insurance had been suspended.
He activated his emergency equipment. The vehicle pulled to the side of the road. As the vehicle came to a stop, all the occupants of the vehicle exited the vehicle, said Larry Lawrence, of the Florence Police Dept.

This must be a low tier smuggling outfit. Normally, they steal new or near new Ford 250s from Arizonans to make their human smuggling runs. Probably the ACME Smuggling Co.
Don’t worry. Janet Napolitano will be right on it, trying to arrest the officer for doing his job. Nothing gets by Birdbrain.
Just another example of what Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the other police officers of Arizona face every day. However, most of them except for the Obama leftist in Tucson, have risen in revolt against the National Park Service (and, by proxy, the Obama regime), over law enforcement issues.
There is a marxist/leftist RECALL program underway against Republican officials.
Arizona is a hotbed of narcoterrorism, illegal immigration, liberal stupidity and marxist infiltration.
Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play?
Has anyone here ever seen a headline that said “Officer shoots alleged U.S. Citizen”?
He flipped on his lights.
You’re right...in MN. during roofing season, you wouldn’t believe how many newer, crew-cab F250’s show up with rattle can black paint jobs. They stick out like a sore thumb, but no one seems to check them out.
The Hunt Highway can have a fairly heave LEO presence on it; Pinal Cty has a Sheriff's substation in that area and Florence is chock full of DOC officers. It's not a good place to be involved in human smuggling.
Hope these guys get to spend some time in the gray-bar hotel before being flung back across the border...
heave = heavy.
See what happens when you ping on the Job. lol
Wish I had a Job.
Yeah, my multi-tasking skills leave a bit to be desired.
Wish I could help with the job situation. We got nuttin’ up your alley right now.
I’d take almost any alley about now.
There could be more to that. It could include GPS, camera's, tracking equipment, etc.
