I just love when a liberal gets gored with his own politcally correct ox.

Then again, looking at Roland’s rotund body, perhaps he’s a little jealous of Mr. Beckham.

My only question about the commercial is why would any company spend 3.5 million dollars on a commercial showing a sports star no one cares about? Soccer in the U.S. has as much appeal as the professional poker tour and full contact martial arts. They could have done just as well showing a sports “star” from one of these sports in their underwear commercial.

Question: Who shops at H & M?
Answer: Women.

Question: Do most men usually buy their own underwear?
Answer: No. Their wives/girlfriends do.

Question: Do women care what sport he plays?
Answer: No. They know him mostly as a guy who dominates gossip magazines. They like the way he looks.

Analysis: H & M executives know that millions of their core demographic - women under 40 - will be watching the Super Bowl. Therefore, they designed a commercial pitched to that demographic.

Hilarious.

One word: women.

A ton of women watch the super bowl. They will be buying what beckham is selling whether they know what sport he plays or not.
