Appearing on Fox and Friends Monday, Donald Trump wasted no time in giving himself credit for Mitt Romney‘s landslide victory in the Nevada caucus.
“There was a lot riding on that particular race in Nevada and it was interesting, because the numbers were much, much greater than you thought,” Trump gloated. “And a lot of people are giving me credit for that. And I will accept that credit.”

Earlier in the interview, co-anchor Steve Doocy asked why Trump took so long to endorse a candidate.
“I like Newt a lot, but I think Mitt Romney is going to win the election against Obama,” Trump observed. “I really believe that. I think Obama will not do well and won’t do as well as people are thinking he’s going to do, and I think that Mitt Romney is going to win the election. But there was a lot of confusion as to who I was going to endorse and frankly, that made things exciting!”
A Facebook/Politico poll found that forty-one percent of Nevada caucus-goers surveyed said Trump’s endorsement gave them a more negative view of Romney.

BWAHA HA HA HA HA HA
That is funny Ha Ha stuff.
A true supporter would have said: Romney’s win is a testament to his electability and I am glad to have supported him in that effort. I’m not sure my endorsement made a difference, but if it did, that’s a good thing.
Newt must be getting a good laugh out of that egomaniacal comment and Romney must be speechless.
That was my reaction also.
I hope he is a millstone around Robama’s neck
Trump sure doesn’t lack an ego, he should go back to doing TV shows that nobody watch.
Trump is an attention and media whore. It’s always all about him. I would not want his endorsement because I can promise you, it comes with a price.
Fact is, in 2008 Romney won with 51%. This time it was 50%.
I’m sure Trump can take credit for that.
How this guy somehow successfully interjected himself on to the stage of presidential politics is beyond me.
I never much cared for Trump, but I now have a reason to really, really dislike him.
I read Win as Wind!
Nevada Mormons arent gonna like this. :-)
The Donald is a joke
I just chuckled when I read it
The Lord does indeed work in mysterious ways....
So the mormon god’s name id Donald Trump...
I thought it was Joey Smith...
Meanwhile the Name of our God, the God of the Christians, is still and forever, the LORD Jesus Christ...
I remember 2008 when McCain lost Nevada. Plastered all over the news was that he lost because of the Romney Mormon vote. Now that Romney wins as the establishment candidate the pundits are saying the Mormon vote is minimal and doesn’t make much difference at all. lol. Fox news a bunch of hypocrites.
Furthermore, according to the establishment, everyone else should drop out now because Nevada shows that Romney wins the “very” conservative vote. They’re trying to pass off the Nevada “Mormon” vote as the “very” conservative vote. Which normally they would be if they didn’t have a dog in the hunt.
Right. We’re too stupid to realize that his Mormons said they’re very conservative to the exit pollsters.
Also that they told the same exit pollsters that they were TEA Party!
IOW, if he’d endorsed a pet monkey...?
OK, if on the off chance that Obama-lite wins over the kenyan, we can blame everything on Trump.
Trump is a huge bag of wind.
One country club Democrat endorsing another country club Democrat.
Take Mitt Romney. No, please, take him!
I used to wonder if there existed anywhere on the planet a man even more narcissistic than the one who occupies the oval office at present and there was Trump right under my nose the whole time. The Donald sho’ do love him some Donald, don’t he?
A guy won $300.00 from a slot machine and he took credit for that too!
