Concur. Got a casemate case, and one of those “military grade” screen protectors. Lots of cool stuff that it can do, but does take some playing around with it to get to know it.
Personally I’d hold out until the Nokia Lumia 900 is out. Bing search it! It’s going to be the phone to own in 2011.
Droid Razr. Quad processor is so fast, the gps never says ‘recalculating’, it instantly auto corrects Verizon Navigator is free with the data plan. Love the ultra fast 4g tech, even 3g is fast enough to download Netflix movies without waiting. I love mine and the Verizon service so much I call her Ann. It comes preloaded with quik office that is easy to work on MS office programs.
While the Lumia 900 should be a very nice phone, even Nokia is saying to wait for the phones that will accompany Apollo.
I’m trying to hold off until then.
I agree 100%. I’m going to upgrade my LG Quantum windows phone to the Nokia Lumia 900 when it comes out. I can’t wait!
You do realize that by getting the smartphone you are required to have a data plan. Depending on which phone you choose, this could add up to $29.99 per month to the bill.

I have an old grandfathered smartphone ENV 2 and I love it. No data plan necessary and a nice QWERTY keyboard. Rock solid phone. My 2 cents!
Oh? I’ve been pretty happy the last 4 years with my 1.5G Moto 9Q.
I agree the next version is going to be what let’s windows phone dominate; however, you’re looking at 2013 or so to see that. If you want a smartphone today I’d wait just another month and get the Nokia lumia 900.
And then upgrade to Apollo later. And also remember windows phones can be updated like iPhones so that you can get the latest OS installed. It may not have the latest sensors built in the phone or dual core, but I’m sure you can go a year with the 900 upgrade to Apollo.
Very powerful, lots of memory, and a very big screen.

I agree but lack of 4g is a real nuisance here in San Diego for Sprint. I stayed with Sprint because of their unlimited data plan but they threw sand in the face of their long time subscribers(2001)just before they released the Galaxy Epic, so do not expect Sprint to have the unlimited data when they roll out their LTE network.

Microsoft has a history of abandoning technologies when they don’t catch on. And, regardless of whether they support it, they won’t be successful unless 3rd-party developers do so as well.
I want a keyboard. I just like the sensation of typing, not to mention that I can feel which keys I’m pressing, which let’s me be a fairly blazing one hand or two fingered typistThat’s my reason for not going for Lumia.
I’m waiting until about June to see what’s available befor I do anything.

I completely understand. I thought I’d never like a phone without a keyboard, but I actually got used to not having one and now kind of prefer it as it allows for the phone to be more comfortable. But I do completely understand.
That is true, which lends to my apprehension about the technology.
What is equally true is that if Microsoft fails at this phone, they very much risk going from a corporate behometh to becoming a non-player like Corel or Nortel.
And they know this.
I replaced it with an LG Enlighten, which is a very basic smart phone. I've been quite pleased with it. The only complaint is that even though the camera has a wide range of settings and effects, it doesn't have a flash...not a big deal for me, and the camera works quite well enough in most light conditions...my girlfriend wants to blow up and frame some of the pics I've taken with it:

We've had several cheaper HPs with laptop screen cables that go bad. Not the simplest repair. Also, the skinny power supply wires break and there is hardly enough wire inside them to re-attach. We've had several of those go bad. You buy a new one and they break, too. Their business models are a bit more solid. Gave up on HP and got my daughter an Asus. Looks good so far.
