A Kansas board that denied a licensed doctor of osteopathic medicine a license was primarily concerned about the man's political views.

The Kansas State Board of Healing Arts is a 15-member panel appointed by the governor and decides the fate of doctors in Kansas.

Terrence Lee Lakin rose to the ranks of lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army. He served on the front lines in Afghanistan and the war zone in Bosnia as well as a medical mission to Honduras. He saved lives around the world and received a Bronze Star for his service.

The lesson here is obvious, Question Obama's Birth Certificate or qualifications for President and you life WILL be destroyed in such a way as to warn anybody else to keep quiet.

What's his political beliefs got to do with anything concerning his ability and competence to practice medicine?

Since this is a state-sanctioned licensing board, it sounds like grounds for a winning lawsuit to me because the board is effectively punishing him with a denial of license for being Conservative.

The TV Station did say they would be pursuing answers to your question. I can see their point of view, if a current government panel can do this because of politics a different one can do the same thing to the other side.

It's almost as if the Country suddenly forgot the Bill of Rights! It's astonishing and scary, it could never happen here.... The years of brain washing by the mainstream media has rendered the population politically inert. They are Entitlement Zombies!

It would be fun to “investigate” the medical records of the Kansas doctors who sit on that board and judge others. They might wind up with a whole new board.

I think they're using the excuse that he was court-martialed, found guilty, and therefore has a rap sheet.

A guilty finding on a court-martial is considered a federal crime finding, and it does follow you for life.

I disagree with the board's decision, as failing to obey an order in the military doesn't really have a civilian equivalent, but it's what this board is using as their “reason”.

Funny thing, though. Their questions for him were all about Obama’s long-form forgery oops- birth certificate, and whether he considers that Obama has proven his eligibility.

Since believing Obama is eligible is an act of blind faith against the available evidence, I’d say this is a religious litmus test...

Actually, I am glad to see this. If the license is political it is meaningless.
