It is interesting that my entire family watched the entire show including the half time show. My sons are 13,11, and 9. Didn’t notice the finger at all and neither did my wife and 13 others watching with us. Of course now that everyone is shouting it from the rooftops, I imagine my kids know about it now. That pisses me off even more. If people would not talk about it. Nobody would even have seen it. People eat this up though. NBC could not be more thilled that conservatives are having a tizzy over this. Oh since the stupid Janet Jackson nonsense, the ratings of the superbowl have gone up every year. This year had 110 million watching.

...a game played by hulking, tattooed, ghetto thugs who swear and spit and beat each other to a pulp every Sunday.
There is a real game in there with a great tradition that requires skill and strategy in order to play well. That's what I like about football, not the things you mentioned above. As you noted, the decline of our society is reflected in much more than just the advertisements that are on TV during major sporting events.

I have lived far too long to believe in Golden Ages.
As for the rest ... I only regret that some folks imprudent prudishness will hinder sane efforts to clean up the moral sewer that is modern culture. I am reminded of the imprudent prudes who gave us the 18th Amendment.

You know exactly what I mean by the standard of TODAYS morals and Social behavior, if you do not then I suppose you would fully understand the stupidty and dress in what you see on this video and approve, these types understand all the idiot sitcoms and commercials, they GET IT, ROFL.
