Stuck on stupid.
It is a really ugly sign but I am missing what makes it a gang sign.
The 6-pointed star, the heart, and pitchfork are all symbols of Folk Nation gangs. Black and blue are their main colors and they associate with wearing accessories on the right instead of the left.
If you were “in” the poster the black and blue hat would be on the right and the red hat would be on the left. The EMS symbol separates them as blue and red have eternal hatred for each other.
I think maybe a better question is whether there is ~any~ symbology that can’t somehow be twisted into some sort of gang sign.
