There is clearly a hunger and a market for honest news and honest conservative news - and it is clearly not FOX
with apologies to Ted Knight - Find O'Reilly:
.
That’s easy! He’s the one with his arm around Ted Knight!
Oh lord, did you watch last night when the tally’s came in. They would not call Co. they couldnt believe it. They had to talk to the GOP leader in CO twice. It was stunning.
Give up looking at Fox for anything honest or conservative. Fox may not be the most liberal news station but they come awfulk damn close
Fox is the only major outlet that will air anything even slightly negative about Obama, or anything that supports conservatism.
Fox doesn’t agree with you, so therefore, they are now the enemy?
“The person who agrees with you 80 percent of the time is a friend and an ally not a 20 percent traitor.” — Ronald Reagan.
The only one I definitely disagree with you is Sean Hannity listening and watching he seems to be very fair and actually tough on all of them.
Well, Elle Bee, do as I have. Tune them out. After many e-mails and phone calls to Fox News, my household no longer watches that bunch. What happened? Damned if I understand it!It is purely a mystery. Why would they shoot themselves in the foot with actions which are certainly losing viewership?
Perhaps someone can shed some light on this.
I’ve stopped watching their commentary. Dana Perinno and Karl Rove especially irk me. I’ve had it with the constant Romney-pushing.
I am boycotting both Fox and Drudge now, but I am curious about what was said. Any details?
I don’t even watch FOX News anymore. Seems to have turned into a latest-book-hawking event. Plus, too much giggling, hardly ever broadcasting the sickening and disgusting events going on at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., and entirely too much Mitten Romney crap.
Now, just how in the hell did that happen? The only one I like to watch is Nick Cavuto. The rest of them have joined the party circle with the RINOs.
Anyway, like I was sayin', Mitt Romney is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue Mitt, boil Mitt, broil Mitt, bake Mitt, saute Mitt. Dey's uh, Mitt-kabobs, Mitt creole, Mitt gumbo. Pan fried Mitt, deep fried Mitt, stir-fried Mitt. There's pineapple Mitt, lemon Mitt, coconut Mitt, pepper Mitt, Mitt soup, Mitt stew, Mitt salad, Mitt and potatoes, Mitt burger, Mitt sandwich. That- that's about Mitt.
My suggestion is, either shoot the TV or change the channel. TV itself jumped the shark years ago, and now it’s just a 1000 channel vast wasteland.
I generally stopped watching about 3 years ago. It’s just amateur hour over there. The way they handle real news is appallingly tabloid-ish and superficial. If I want real news I tune to CNN-hate to say it- but they are hands down the more professional and polished outfit. I expect to get a left leaning bias and am sometimes surprised when I don’t. If there’s an emergency or a breaking story that I care about I will always turn to CNN first.
The shark ate fox.
Dear Roger:
Remember the audience!
Remember the audience!
Remember the audience!
I could not have stated it any better!
Feeling abused?
For me, the abuse was 25 minutes per hour of mortgage commercials telling me that ‘interest rates have changed’ interspersed with 30 minutes per hour of coverage of Gary Condit, with maybe 5 min per hour of celebrities behaving badly. It must have been some running joke amongst the writers to see what would be tolerated. All was delivered serially, with no opportunity to skip ahead or back.
After each segment I’d hold out hope they would have actual genuine news to report or at least an interesting somewhat thought through viewpoint. It never came and the abuse continued relentlessly.
Eventually I had to walk away and spend almost all of my news time with my lovely mistress - Free Republic. I think I’ll hit the fundraiser later this week so she can go buy some nice bandwidth or something.
What, you’re just now coming around to the fact that you’ll not get good, conservative, coverage from TV? Face it, it’s a fact. Has been for decades. Fox’s pledge of “Fair and Balanced” is a ploy and nothing more. Those in the media who don’t completely Kowtow to the administration are still a part of the establishment. If they provide coverage to anti-administration news it will still be within establishment standards.
There’s only one true news source and you’re on it.
Um....yeah. Just a bit. The night that Gingrich held his press conference, the “panel” unanimously said how BAD the press conference was. It was probably one of the last times I will watch any news outlet for actual news for this election season.
