WASHINGTON – House Speaker John Boehner says if President Obama doesn't reverse a new policy requiring religious schools and hospitals to provide employees with access to free birth control, the Congress will.
Boehner, a Catholic, said Wednesday that the rule is an attack on religious freedom in the country. The Ohio Republican, speaking on the floor, said the rule "cannot stand, and will not stand."
The speaker said the Energy and Commerce Committee will move ahead on legislation.

I’ll read the whole article. But let me go on record of stating that Boehner is a weak suck. He needs to be replaced as the speaker.

Wonder why Mr. Obama doesn’t make a RULE to have all of the Muslim women take off their veils so we can see that it isn’t a terroist MAN in garb?

hey maybe these religious hospitals and charities can be required to give money to the employees instead to buy insurance. The employer won’t be providing the “sinful health insurance plan” directly and the employees can buy whatever insurance they want with the money.
Either Barry will double-down and veto it (which works for us), or Harry Reid will bury it, putting all Senate seats up for grabs in states with a lot of Catholics (which also works for us).

Pffft! The only thing Boehner’s going to overturn is Issa’s Fast and Furious investigation.
Also remember, when they were first supposed to vote on the repeal it was right before the Gifford's shooting. They postponed the vote because it was the fault of Sarah Palin and the Tea Party that she was shot - thus putting the vote off for a week. By then, alot of public relations damage was done and maybe didnt get the same amont of votes it would have gotten if Giffords hadnt been shot.
I think it's worth taking up again, especially in an election year, so the politicians can be seen for what they stand for while people are thinking about which criminal to vote for.
