From the Republican presidential candidates to top GOP lawmakers in Washington, party leaders are engaging in a full-court press against the Obama Administration's decision to force employers affiliated with religious groups to offer health care insurance plans to workers that cover birth control free of charge, even if the action contradicts the employer's religious beliefs.
In a rare move for someone in his office, House Speaker John Boehner, Republican of Ohio, took to the floor of the chamber on Wednesday to discuss a legislative plan to overturn the decision. Calling the rule "an unambiguous attack" on faith-based groups, Boehner said the House would begin work on a bill immediately.
"If the president does not reverse the department's attack on religious freedom, then the Congress, acting on behalf of the American people, and the Constitution that we're sworn to uphold and defend, must," Boehner, a Catholic, said. "The House will approach this matter fairly and deliberately through regular order and appropriate legislative channels."
Boehner said that the chamber's Energy and Commerce committee will take the lead in drafting the legislation to overturn the decision.

(a)A very, very rich player.
(b) The hands-down, best-dressed guy in Washington. His bespoke shoes cost more than your car. One of his suits? Probably a lot more than your last vacation. Beautiful Brioni/Savile Row sort of stuff. Very well groomed, tanned, (or is that bronze the sign of a bad liver?) barbered and bathed. The very picture of a safe-seat Republican!
(c)A very VERY heavy drinker. He is usually ethanol-powered, which may or may not have anything to do with his greenhouse gas emissions. He is usually "under the weather." Unfortunately, he is not under the opposition radar.
(d)He has the best damn manners in Congress. This guy is smooth and long on the bonhomie.
(e)He Loves, did I say LOVES? the ladies. Gotta be something there, no?
(e)I would not doubt for an instant that The Mombasa MF can instantly put his hands on terminally embarrassing anti-Boehner material. Hell, I can, and I'm usually 600 miles away!
The best I can say for the guy is that he is not a sloppy Kennedy-type drunk, nor a kinky whoremaster like that Condit slimeball (whose favorite cruising partner through the DC Demi-Monde was none other than Choir-Boy Kasich (figure that one out!). But who runs Boehner's day and how he navigates through it is a damned mystery. He is the best thing that ever happened to Obama since he left Kenya.
The only thing he has ever turned over is a kleenex.
Now watch Boehner enter into a “negotiation” in which he gives in and agrees with everything the Obama demands he will declare the problem over and congratulate Obama.
Boner should just stay out of this. He is too weak and easily manipulated to accomplish anything useful.
Have a good cry in the corner, Boehner, and just STFU.

As usual, the Stupid Party is being divided and conquered and played for the slow witted suckers they are. I suspect before this is over, they will find a way to reach across to their "good friends across the aisle" and "compromise". Perhaps all it will take is agreeing to another $1 Trillion raise in the deficit ceiling?
