“From the Daily Mail
The scientist behind the bogus claim in a Nobel Prize-winning UN report that Himalayan glaciers will have melted by 2035 last night admitted it was included purely to put political pressure on world leaders.”

If the global warming crowd has done anything, perhaps it’s been to establish the type of accurate measurement tools that can now establish that they were wrong. Wouldn’t that be too delicious for words?
So SUV’s, incandescent bulbs, the industrial revolution, coal power plants, trucks, cars, swimming pools, air conditioners are still NOT melting mountains and killing polar bears.
Tibetans don't call it The Land of Snows for giggles. "Scientists" are easily stunned.
“Our results and those of everyone else show we are losing a huge amount of water into the oceans every year,” said Prof John Wahr of the University of Colorado. “People should be just as worried about the melting of the world’s ice as they were before.”
OMG rivers FLOW INTO THE OCEAN!!!!!
GASP!!!!
Quick Dam them all up, OMG now we are hurting Fish!!!
Crying Wolf is the occupation of the AGW crowd.
The truth doesn't matter even after they spend billions to discover it for themselves.
LOL
I recall back about the fifth grade, in the neolithium period known as "The 60s," we had cute little graphics that showed the water cycle. Rain and snow came down on the land, the water flowed down rivers into the ocean and water evaporated from the ocean back up into clouds in the sky.
I guess the super-brains have figured out that those primitive cave drawings were just superstitious nonsense.
I'm surprised Nature agreed to publish this.
.08 mm eh? About the thickness of a good trash bag? And they claim they can measure sea level to that degree? LOL
Sea levels began to rise 18k years ago at the end of the last glacial period. They have risen about 135 meters since then which is an average of 7.5 millimeters per year. That is an average of 750 mm per century (29.5 inches) which is far more than the average over the last century.
From 1880 to 2000 sea level rose about 20 cm or just under 8 inches. Far far less than the nearly 30 inches per century average over the last 18,000 years.
The enviornmentalists suffer from a condition
called “Chicken Littlism”.
