Mitt Romney acknowledged on Wednesday that his path to the Republican presidential nomination is not going to be easy after three shock losses to newly ascendant rival Rick Santorum.
A day after Santorum beat him in Colorado, Minnesota and Missouri, Romney attempted to play down the results, saying his campaign did not devote a lot of time and money to the three state nominating contests and chose to compete strongly elsewhere.

Somebody on here will have to let me know, I stopped going to Drudge after the last bloody Thursday...If millions more did that then we attack where it hurts them the most..the pocket book!
“Romney attempted to play down the results, saying his campaign did not devote a lot of time and money to the three state nominating contests . . .”
BS. I got six robo calls a night for Romney before caucus.
If Romney tries to destroy Rick, like he did Newt, I pray it will backfire. My husband was a big Newt fan and said he did not care much for Santorum. After last night and hearing him speak he’s become a fan.
I’m like your husband, Linda. I’ll take either Newt or Rick now and was NOT a Santorum backer before.
It wasn’t a “wake-up call” it was a “drop dead” (or at least “out”) call to Willard.
I’ll bet it will backfire. People are much more ticked off about the pitbull strategy than Mittens and Co. realize.
So bring it, Rom!
Without a doubt!
But the establishment GOP just won't see that running Mitt will first, demoralize and lose their base...and cost them the election.
Romney will likely go negative on Rick. I doubt if GOPee or Romney go as ballistic as they did against Newt.
GOPee doesn’t fear Rick as much as they do Newt. JMHO.
Rook takes the Bishop. Sorry Romney...
The Rinos all coordinated their attack on Newt to overwhelm him. They might try the same on Rick but I don’t think it will be as effective since it will be a re-run. On the other hand, Rick is a GOP go along to get along guy so they won’t feel so threatened by him actually doing anything about the corruption and treason.
You can bet on it !
