In an address recently delivered to an AIPAC audience in New York, New Jersey governor Chris Christie articulated a responsible view of America’s role in the world, stressing the importance of us standing by our friends and taking action against our adversaries.
“America should stand by its friends and its democratic allies, even, and sometimes especially, when it’s unpopular to do so,” Christie said, outlining his foreign policy vision. “And you know I know, that it may not be fashionable in some of the chancelleries, the foreign ministries, and salons around the world to talk about why America stands with Israel – but that’s no excuse not to be saying, and saying it loudly.”
Christie continued: “I read a quote from President Franklin Roosevelt which I thought made this point much better than I ever could. He says, ‘Please judge me by the enemies I have made.’ In that same spirit, I would like to say to all of you tonight: I admire Israel for the enemies it has made.”
The New Jersey governor went on to explain that Israel’s enemies are America’s, and that the two countries share important values. “We both believe in self-government, we both believe in democracy, and unalienable rights,” Christie said. “From what I understand, the Knesset and Israel’s free, vibrant news media make Trenton seems like a cordial and sleepy atmosphere. You’ll find that hard to believe, if I say so myself.”
We also judge Christie by his friends, pro-Mosque and pro-Romney babble.

I supported Christie before and I will again, but, now, after his endorsement of Romney, I know he is a rino and not a conservative.
But in NJ, I guess he is about the best we can hope for, may God forgive us.
We should not be giving this RINO any kind of leg up here on FR in my opinion. Talks conservative, i.e. talks the talk alright. Acts, administrates as either a RINO or in some cases, as a liberal, and endorses RINOS like Romney. Had enough of those types, thank you.
This is just more TALK from Christie. It’s what he’s best at. What does he DO? Well, for one, he’s soft on Jihad. And he’s soft on border security and illegal aliens.
Saudi Arabia is an enemy of Israel and I can assure you Christie doesn’t consider Saudi Arabia our enemy.
The Muslim Brotherhood is an enemy of Israel and Christie appointed a Muslim Brother to the bench.

Live in Jersey do you? I do. I had to hold my nose and vote for this Lou Costello-look-a-like. This is a man , who in his capacity as a US attorney said “Illegal aliens haven’t broken any laws’’. I’m sick and tired of having to hold my nose and vote for RINOs. I used to be a liberal Democrat. Now I look to the GOP and see that all it is is Democrat-Lite.
He also does not exhibit a knowledge of the Creator of the universe,Krispi Cream is quoting a Progressive Demoncrat.

I suppose that what has happened is that the conservative democrats have had no place to go and have been forced to become Republicans. It remains to be seen if this is bad for true conservatives or not. It certainly is if it always allows liberals to win. I feel quite sure that hold your nose or not, he’s still a lot better than the what they had.
No, I’m in ultra-liberal Maryland, where my vote won’t count anyway towards the presidential election. I guess I envy your choice for governor. States like mine make you wish for a Rino that could be elected, since a true conservative apparently has no chance at all.
Christie was a Hobson’s Choice if ever there was one and as I said, I’m sick and tired of ‘’the lesser of two evils’’ when it comes to voting Republican. Christie hasn’t done SQUAT for the state of NJ. My property taxes have gone up 24% in Bricktown where I live. He’s nothing more than a RINO.
