Washington -- A key congressional Republican who had threatened to bring a contempt citation against Attorney General Eric Holder if he did not comply with a demand for "Operation Fast and Furious" documents by 5 p.m. Thursday, has backed off his stated deadline. House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-California, who has the backing of the committee's Republican majority, has granted a Justice Department request for an extension. No new deadline was set. The Justice Department did not dispute the committee statement.

At one time I expected some justice for the dead border guard and his family. No longer. A government that does this and allows this is worthless, pointless. Our government exists solely for the benefit of our ruling class and nothing else matters to them except to continue the ride for themselves. As for the people....they deserve it. We've allowed it and do nothing to end it.....as long as enough of us get our cut. What a tragedy. I can't wait until it all collapses. Then maybe we can begin to fix it.

Holder and obastard have nothing to fear and don’t care now what anyone thinks or does. They are bullet proof and teflon.

We on the right could not hate them anymore than we do and in spite of that are too weak or coward to do anything else about it but hate them.

The left still love them and will always love them since if their support is not faltering by now it never will. Their love is unconditional and obastard and company can get by with anything and do anything to their adoring followers on the left, they will still love them.
