Posted on 02/10/2012 5:54:11 AM PST by tutstar
Occupy Albany has announced an event in March called, The Weather Underground Meets Occupy Wall Street. The event will be held March 3rd, and is co-sponsored by The Sanctuary For Independent Media and the Albany Social Justice Center. It is described as, A book event and multi-generational dialog to celebrate U.S. political prisoner David Gilberts new memoir, Love and Struggle.
Gilbert is currently serving time in the Auburn Correctional Facility and is described as an American radical leftist organizer and activist. He was imprisoned for his role in the Brinks Robbery of 1981, a botched effort that led to the murder of four people, including a security guard and two police officers.
Interestingly, Gilbert sounds strikingly similar to the Occupy protesters of today when he describes his actions during the robbery. In an interview in 1985, he described the scene as such:
It was an attempted expropriation. That means taking money from those who amassed wealth by exploiting the people and using that money to finance the resistance.

This ought to be interesting! Who would ever think that Occupy Wall Street would want to connect with American terrorists?
Who would ever think that Occupy Wall Street would want to connect with American terrorists?
They are a creation of American terrorists.
let’em...that will eliminate and sliver of credibility they MAY have had with any one, xcept their looney base
letem...that will eliminate ANY sliver of credibility they MAY have had with any one, xcept their looney base
I have been saying for months now that the ultimate goal for the leftwing with the Occupier movement will be to form a terrorist movement. The democrat party, the progressive ideology, the left-wing all have a very long history of using terrorism both worldwide and in the United States. The Occupier movement is the attempt of those behind the scenes who guide th eleft-wing and the democrat party base to the mindset of becoming a terrorist.
In case anyone feels the urge to contribute, to the scholarship funds of the two murdered police officers..
Yeah who knew? /s
The thugocracy is pretty well complete
“Who would ever think that Occupy Wall Street would want to connect with American terrorists? “
Well, the Total Transformation of America that Obama promised us has been slowed down by the constitution of the United Sates.
Time for extraconstitutional means, and for the left, that means a huge terrorist movement.
Can’t wait for the conventions and the election! I think I should add to my sandbag collection.
Yeah, I watch that all the time. Always tune it in before or during storms, etc. Great animation and detail. Refreshes every few seconds. Don’t know if this is connected to them or not. If so, am really surprised.
It amazes me that a guy who publicly wiped his feet on the American flage is still walking around.
I’ve had too many run-ins with FR’s and my posting articles so I don’t do it, besides I have some tech issues with links also. But Big Government has an article by Jason Pollak which I haven’t seen posted in FR. It’s about one of the authors of Obamacare and IL M/C Jankowsky’s husband Could someone please post it.
have no doubt that violence is in their plans if things do not go their way this November
I have no doubt these Soros-backed thugs have violence in their plans to ENSURE things go their way this November.
The growing Internet weather program was given the name Weather Underground, a reference to the 1960's radical group that also originated at the University of Michigan, which had taken its name from the lyrics to Bob Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues, "You don't need a weather man to know which way the wind blows."
Their “support”, in the way you mean it, is of no importance.
They are being groomed as an SA, to intimidate and to silence. Very few Germans “supported” the SA. What the Germans DID do was stay the hell out of their way and keep quiet.
The only supporters OWS need are Eric Holder and Barack Obama. Human nature will do the rest, when sheeple see that OWS are immune from arrest and prosecution.
remember their messiah said
we will have a million strong civilian security force to match that of the military, to be well as funded as the military
The crowd then goes wild while not knowing what the hell he is talking about.
He wants this movement, he wants the union hacks to scare union workers and send lying B/S to their union workers through the mail and pout u0 at their work place, i.e in teachers rooms etc
HEY MEDIA EVER THOUGHT ABOUT ASKING WHAT HE MEANT ABOUT THAT?
Nah didn;t think so you lying pieces of crap
Definitely, Aaron Klein has already exposed who is backing the group. I figured it wouldn’t be too long until ows publicly showed their stripes.
Beware the U.S. 'day of rage' September 17
Anthony Martin, Conservative Examiner
August 21, 2011
In 1969 Leftwing domestic terrorist William 'Bill' Ayers, head of the group known as 'the Weathermen,' staged the 'days of rage' in Chicago during which acts of violence, mayhem, and destruction of property were conducted as a means by which Progressive extremists would not only protest American capitalism and the Viet Nam War but so disrupt the country that its economic and social system would crumble and be replaced by a Marxist and pacifistic model.
The fact that by definition an anti-war movement along with its promotion of pacifism disavows all violence for any purpose, good or bad, was totally lost on this gang of extremist militants who were more interested in pushing a Marxist, anti-Capitalist agenda than portraying a pacifistic mindset. Despite their many claims of 'peaceful protest and non-violent civil disobedience,' the Weathermen went on a rampage during which they ran wild in the streets wearing helmets, military gear, and wielding baseball bats and other weapons. All symbols of wealth and power were attacked, including parked cars, the apartments and property of the affluent, police officers, and 'rich' innocent bystanders.
Ayers called on the Marxist minions to kill their parents. By the end of the melee 400 militants were arrested and 60 victims were injured, some seriously. The group had also caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages to property.
By 1970 the Weathermen turned even more violent as they began to blow up buildings with bombs. Bombs were detonated in the U.S. Capitol Building, the Pentagon, and the New York City Police Headquarters, among others. The violence resulted in several deaths, including that of at least 2 police officers. To this day, neither Bill Ayers, nor his wife and co-domestic terrorist Bernadine Dohrn, have ever expressed the slightest hint of remorse for their actions. To the contrary, they have stated more than once that they would do it all over again and are sorry that they did not do even more.
On September 17 of this year yet another 'day of rage' is scheduled to occur in New York City on Wall Street, as once again the militant Marxist Progressives attempt to shut down the stock market and bring to ruin several large firms. The major difference between the days of rage of 1969 and the day of rage this September 17 is that today the Leftwing extremists have friends in very high places within the government. And the key players in this year's display of mayhem have a direct connection with those who staged the first event in 1969.
The usual suspects are involved--the union SEIU, former directors of ACORN, and other Leftist organizations that have come to the forefront of attention since the Presidential election of 2008. But as a special report published in 2003 in the Boston Globe indicates, the Weathermen are still active and do most of their work underground, well out of the public eye. Many believe that Ayers, Dohrn, Kathy Boudin, and other key players in the Weathermen are helping fuel the tensions leading to the various days of rage around the world.
For example, it is known that Ayers, Dohrn, and Jodi Evans of Code Pink form the driving force behind the so-called 'Peace Flotilla' that is aimed at breaching Israel's blockade of Gaza and provoking attacks. It is also curious to note that the flotilla's activities closely preceded the so-called Arab Spring and days of rage throughout the Middle East as extremists used the ruse of 'democratic protests' to oust dictators and usher in their own form of totalitarianism called 'Sharia Law.' Ayers is the original purveyor of the 'days of rage'--the originator and guru of the movement. The fact that these types of events are being staged all over the world, using the same name, is no coincidence.
"Gleeful about the raging riots that held England captive this week, the tweet has gone out to activists and disaffected youth to occupy wall street Sept 17 today. Social Networks FaceBook and Twitter are abuzz with plans for coming anarchy on U.S. soil.
The Days of Rage will continue beyond the occupation of Wall Street with activists being told bring your tent.
The original "Day(s) of Rage"
Days of Rage riots (1969)
The Days of Rage riots in Chicago took place over a 4-day period beginning October 8, 1969, after members of the Weathermen, a militant offshoot of the Students for a Democratic Society [SDS], converged on the city to confront police in the streets in response to the trial of the group of anti-Vietnam War activists known as the "Chicago Eight".
Aaron Klein has been investigating them for a few months now. Muslim Brotherhood is also being brought in. There is a video of it somewhere in his articles or tweets. I had wanted to post all his reports on fr but couldn’t keep up with it. Inevitably I would have a swamp load of work to do when he would post something but he is definitely doing more to dig in to a lot of stories that most of msm put together.
Re: David Gilbert
The 1981 Weather Underground, Black Liberation Army-related Triple Murder in Nyack, NY
From David Horowitz's FrontPageMag.com/DiscoverTheNetworks.org:
"On October 20, 1981 -- long after the Weather Underground had ceased to exist -- former Underground member Kathy Boudin and her soon-to-be husband, David Gilbert, were accomplices in the robbery of a Brinks armored car in Nyack, New York. In the course of that heist, one Brinks guard and two Nyack police officers were murdered. Also involved in the robbery was Judith Clark, who had served a prison term for her participation in the 'Days of Rage.' Boudin hired attorney Leonard Weinglass, a law partner of her father, to defend her in the case.
Weinglass arranged for a plea bargain whereby Boudin pled guilty to one count of felony murder and robbery, in exchange for a prison sentence of twenty years to life. She was paroled in 2003, however, over strong opposition from New York State police. Gilbert remains in New York's Attica State Prison, having refused to bargain.
In 1985, former Weather Underground members Susan Rosenberg (who also was implicated in the Nyack robbery [Brinks truck robbery/murder]) and Linda Evans were apprehended while transporting 740 pounds of explosives which they both acknowledged were slated for use in additional bombings. Rosenberg was sentenced to 58 years in prison, Evans 40; President Bill Clinton pardoned both women in January 2001."
AMBUSH: THE BRINKS ROBBERY OF 1981
[triple murder involving former Weather Underground, Black Liberation Army and Black Panthers members]
Jeral Wayne Williams (AKA Mutulu Shakur)
[stepfather of murdered rapper Tupac Shakur]
"The armored truck's final stop was the Nanuet National Bank on the second level of the mall. The crew was due to pick up almost $1.6 million dollars in cash from the bank. Inside the truck was an additional several hundred dollars in cash from earlier collections. Pete Paige was assigned to guard his partner as he handled the cash. His partner was assigned to enter the bank, retrieve the moneybags with Paige and place them into the back of the armored vehicle.
Also in the same parking lot that afternoon was a red Chevy van that cruised the area while the guards went inside the mall. The rear and side windows had been covered with plastic so no one could see inside. Inside the van was a man named Mutulu Shakur, 31, already a veteran of several armored car and bank robberies committed in the Bronx, Mt. Vernon, NY and Paramus, NJ. Shakur was an adopted name. His real name, or slave name as he described it, was Jeral Wayne Williams. He was a black nationalist who ran a financially corrupt acupuncture clinic in Lincoln Hospital in New York City, the first such clinic in the Bronx. Williams was an articulate and persuasive individual who recruited many disciples to follow him. Under the banner of black self-determination, he convinced his accomplices that it was up to them to seize funds from legitimate sources and "redistribute" the money to various black causes. With each robbery committed, the gang improved on its methods and became more sophisticated. They studied the reaction of guards and the police. They took the time to learn how police handled and investigated such crimes. Then, they made the appropriate adjustments on the next job.
"David J. Gilbert, 37, rented the vehicle that same day in the Bronx. Gilbert was a long time member of the Weather Underground and a fugitive from the state of Colorado where he faced charges of assault and possession of explosives. The passenger in the front seat of the U Haul was Kathy Boudin [another former Weather Underground member], on the run from the law since the townhouse explosion in 1970. The couple had dropped off their one-year old child with a babysitter in the morning and was waiting for the return of the red van."
"In the back of the red van were Cecilio 'Chui' Ferguson, 35, Samuel Brown AKA Solomon Bouines, 41, Samuel Smith AKA Mtayari Sundiata, 37, and Donald Weems AKA Kuwasi Balagoon, 35. There were others present, but it has never been proven who, or how many. All the men in back of the van were members of a group they called 'The Family.' Most of them had ties to the Black Panthers or the Black Liberation Army, radical political groups that had many violent confrontations with police during the 1970s."
"At approximately 3:55 p.m., Paige, a 24-year Brink's veteran and his partner, Joe Trombino, 48, exited the doors to the Mall rolling out the moneybags on a hand truck. They walked over to the Brink's truck and began to load up the bags onto the rear deck. Simultaneously, the red van pulled up and the rear doors swung open. One of the suspects, armed with a shotgun, ran to the front of the truck and immediately fired two blasts directly at the bulletproof windshield. The guard in the front seat ducked just in time and was unhurt.
Another suspect, wearing a ski mask, opened up with his M-16 automatic rifle before his feet even hit the pavement, striking Paige in the neck, arm and chest. He was killed instantly.
Joe Trombino fired just one shot before he was hit several times in his upper arm and shoulder. The bullets all but severed his arm off his shoulder. "I've got no arm!" he screamed. But Trombino would survive that day, only to perish years later in another terrorist attack at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001."

"Their founding document [the Weather Underground's] called for the establishment of a "white fighting force" to be allied with the "Black Liberation Movement" and other "anti-colonial" movements to achieve "the destruction of US imperialism and the achievement of a classless world: world communism."..."-Berger, Dan (2006). Outlaws of America: The Weather Underground and the Politics of Solidarity. AK Press, 95.
Outlaws of America: The Weather Underground and the Politics of Solidarity (Paperback) by Dan Berger
The suspects were often described as "urban terrorists" in the press and cops everywhere were deeply worried about the role of the Black Liberation Army.
The B.L.A. was a notorious and violent group of extremists who planned and carried out unprovoked shootings of uniformed police officers. During the 1970s and early 1980s, there were several of these types of killings of which the B.L.A. were suspect. On May 20, 1971, New York City Police Officers Joseph Piagentini and Waverly Jones were shot and killed in an ambush in Harlem. The following year, on January 28, 1972, officers Gregory Foster and Rocco Laurie were murdered outside a restaurant in Manhattan. Another such shooting occurred on the night of April 16, 1981 when uniform cops pulled over a suspicious van in the St. Alban's section of Queens. Without any warning, two men jumped out of the rear of the van with machine guns and opened up on the unsuspecting cops. Both were immediately killed. This cold-blooded killing enraged cops everywhere. A later investigation indicated that an escaped radical, Joannne Chesimard, one of the most sought after individuals in America, may have been in that van. She was serving a life sentence for her role in the murder of a New Jersey State trooper in 1973 when she escaped from custody in 1979. This theory was never proven, but to this day, many of the investigators who worked on that case believed it to be true.
"[Bernardine] Dohrn [Bill Ayers' co-terrorist wife] once was on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted List. She served seven months in prison for refusing to cooperate with a grand jury investigating a 1981 armored truck robbery in Nyack, N.Y., in which two police officers [and 1 Brinks guard] were killed."
"They [Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn] later became legal guardians of Chesa Boudin, the son of former Weathermen David Gilbert and Kathy Boudin, after his parents were arrested for their part in the Brinks Robbery of 1981.
Ultimate Source of Ideology behind much of the OWS Movement
I see much of today's OWS (Occupy Wall Street) movement to be like that of liberal hippie movement of the 60's (which sometimes occupied administrative buildings) of the modern moral decline. Which, while having some legitimate grievances, was overall inspired by the leader of the original occupy movement, that of "occupy God's throne (OGT) , by a being, who like many protesters i believe, did not want to strive lawfully for recompense, (2Tim. 2:5) but sought to climb up some other way. (Jn. 10:1)
God, who needs nothing, (Acts 17:25) and who is abounds in giving, even that which cost Him the most, (Jn. 3:16; Rm. 8:32; 1Jn. 4:9-13) and who is Almighty, omniscient and eternal, calls us to make Him our God, which is to our benefit, versus ultimately living for and trusting in created things, which will fail and can mislead us. But which glory the created being named Lucifer lusted after and in self will would have taken, (Is. 14:12ff) while the overcomers by faith in Christ will sit with Christ in His throne, even as He also overcame, and is set down with His Father in His throne. (Rv. 3:21)
The devil would have God divest Himself of His rightful power and position, in order to "share the wealth" with the greedy one worthy of Hell. And which rebellion the devil seeks to replicate in his movements, and it is can be seen that the ideology driving the OWS movement is one that is at war with the God behind traditional Biblical morality and the principles of rightfully gaining rewards, and basically demands that those who are worthy of their recompense (and do not share their ideology) should divest themselves of it so that even the indolent can live as a wealthy man, and even rather than volitional charity being shown being.
As seen in the Garden of Eden event, (Gn. 3:1-5) the key tactic in gaining disciples of the devil is to instill a victim entitlement mentality, with its resentment, that one has been, and is, being dealt with unfairly by God and or those who to a good degree represent valid authority and position. The devil then works to deepen and maintain this mentality by imagining or magnifying additional injustices, while minimizing positives, past or present, for which they should be gratefully mindful of.
In the Garden, the devil sought to instill mentality this by working to convince Eve she was victimized by a solitary restriction, which she was essentially told she should have equal rights, it being unfair that God should have a certain unique knowledge and what went with it, and that therefore her rebellion was justified and necessary. Thus the devil basically demanded that God "share the wealth," but which Divine knowledge innocence needed not, nor which powers she had a claim to.
The resultant lust (a selfish craving for something which will take, not wait to receive by loving and obeying God and doing what is right) today is essentially for a Garden of Eden without God, and unwarranted god-like power for self perceived elites, in which ultimately no one has to obey orders and be found worthy of position and power according to Biblical principles, and where such commitments as marriage are not required for lawful sexual union, or even wearing clothes (except for the climate), as if man did not have a fallen nature prone to sin. (Thus in the liberal mind wars are never necessary, and if the US laid down its weapons China, et al would follow.) Instead, all eat from the trees which grow food and whatever else is needed or lusted after.
But in this case the government is as God, which freely provides everything for this elite class. But despite the delusion, someone must pay for such, and this welfare comes at the expense of the slave class who actually rightfully earn money, who are kept in subjection by the railing of the elite against those who have been blessed by doing right. In essence, it is a proxy government for the devil, and by the devil and his disciples.
As in Godless Communism which also relies upon a victim entitlement mentality, the pretext behind this rebellion is that of some abuse, real and or magnified or imagined. The hippie movement reproved materialism to justify their rebellion against Biblical morality, commitment, responsibility, diligence, hard work and other proven principals necessary for good families and society, and penalties for rejecting them. And in its place they sought to establish a Woodstock type utopia of music, fornication and drugs (delusion by the latter providing the closest thing to what they seek), having no problem with able-bodied men taking food stamps from the government they habitually protested against. But which being implemented results more in a Haight Asbury experience than any utopia, and of being in dependance upon the traditional model they rebelled against, while it exists.
Having become mainstream, the protest of this movement today is more mature and exists in and is fostered by the government, with universities being their seminaries (a cause and effect relationship, the latter being in contrast to earlier education in America), and the pretext used to justify the OWS movement is abuse of capitalism. However, what drives the protest is actually (if unconsciously) the failure of their ideology, of the government to provide what this fantasy demands. (which would include elimination of their student loan debt , which presently can be achieved by working for the government for or non-religious non profits for 10 years, while making all payments). And as in Communism and those who follow the devil, this would end up with a self deluded class of elites who gained their power by craft, and who are worse than whatever abusers they may have replaced.
The Present Costs of the War against God are manifestly abundant in souls, live and money, with spiritual blindness in part happening to America, electing prevaricating princes who tell them what to hear. And thus let u hear the conclusion of the matter on a national scope: "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance." (Psalms 33:12)
"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." (Psalms 9:17)
Great! What better way to maintain your image as a peaceful, nonviolent protest than to associate yourselves with domestic terrorists?
It is described as, A book event and multi-generational dialog to celebrate U.S. political prisoner David Gilberts new memoir, Love and Struggle.
. . . He was imprisoned for his role in the Brinks Robbery of 1981, a botched effort that led to the murder of four people, including a security guard and two police officers.
Well, sure. Committing armed robbery and four counts of first-degree murder is just an act of political dissidence, which is a constitutional right!
Sheesh. Do these people even half understand how clueless they sound? I guess the one saving grace is that probably more of us have read, and understand the implications of, Orwell.
Glenn Beck is right. He called this a long time ago. He told the entire country what the democrats were planning. People listened, but didn't want to have to admit it or eventually face it.
This is why this coming presidential election is so important. This country needs someone tough enough to turn the entire left wing movement around and destroy it.
Tweedledim to meet Tweedledimmer.
