Social Issues, Not Economy, May Decide 2012 Election
IBD's Capital Hill ^ | 2/9/2012 | Sean Higgins

The conventional wisdom of the 2012 election was that it would be a race over economics: how to revive the economy, how to reduce unemployment and how to get the deficit under control. The last week has undermined that assumption. The election may be about the culture war instead.

Consider the events of the last week or so.

Obama would LOVE a culture war! Deflects attention away from all of his FAILURES! Although, starting the culture war with the Catholics after pissing off the Jews may not have been his best opening move. May lead to the dreaded 3 move checkmate.

Defeating Obama is going to require that all three legs of the Conservative movement come together. Social conservatives, economic conservatives and national security conservatives. That’s how Reagan did it.

Yes, the DemonRats have played well. The country, like a dysfunctional couple, is careening to bankruptcy and they have fighting, not over the checkbook but in the bedroom.

I must sadly conclude that the American people have become too stupid for self-governance. Not all of us, but there are enough that believe in "Free Ice Cream For All" to reelect Obama.

Long live the FICFA Party!

(see tagline)

You are correct and thus this campaign will be waged on several issues:

1. Economics
2. Culture
3. National Security
4. Corruption of executive and judicial and legislative branches of the government under Obama

There is so much material to use against this corrupt Marxist.

The economy could be booming and I'd still be snorting fire!
From the red light killing of innocent unborn children from the administration, telling our parents what to feed their kids, forcing green lies that are expensive and not necessary, forcing government health care down our throats, future tax raises, skyrocketing food prices, dumbing down our school children to make them pawns, attack on Christian beliefs, trashing our Constitution, empowering the unions to rape and kill companies, the forcing of the homosexual agenda down our throats at every turn, spending our tax money like drunken sailors and for being socialist/progressive/communist degenerates. That's why I'm breathing fire even as I write!

Romney is not the answer.
