Gannett paper, link only:
“...The police report says it’s unclear which students didn’t return their computers because the school didn’t list which laptop was given to which student. “
Dr. Nina-Compoop is a perfect example of why I am so ardently opposed to the education system we have today. These are the sorts of brainiacs that want to be your children’s parental figures, because you don’t have enough common sense to raise them yourself.
“Here! Here’s your laptop sweetie. What’s that? No, we don’t need to register which laptop you took. We’re here to help you. We trust you. We don’t want to stigmatize you by acting as if we don’t trust you. Bye you little darling...”
How do these folks house, dress, and feed themselves, let alone travel to work?
I just know they’re going to offer to trade the kids a Chevy Volt for each computer.
Dang. Last year the dog chewed the cable on my 7th grade daughter’s school computer power cord and they charged us $48! Daughter wanted to pay it all as she felt it was her responsibility. And I figured there are cords all over the house that the dog never chews on, so really just an accident. We split the cost.
Smile, you’re doing something right. No doubt about it.
$48! You were overcharged.
“...school didnt list which laptop was given to which
Brilliant move. But what do they care? It’s not their money.
That's why kids are failing in school. They aren't taught logic and reason, let alone the three R's. One of the first things you learn to use a computer for is to create lists in order to track items. Teachers and school administrators are just plain dumb nowadays.
