It was meant as a kind of subtle allusion to the FREEDOM it gives men to screw around, and not have any consequences....not to mention the women....
And, lest ye forget—the good Fr. Drinan got the beribboned young Lt. Kerry into Boston College. Fr. Drinan was on the faculty there, and Kerry couldn’t get into Yale Law—some say because he couldn’t produce an honorable discharge from the Navy. They’re all alike—corrupt.
HUH? You might want to think for a moment before you attack....sheesh....and maybe ask for a clarification of your understanding of what I said.
YES, I know it’s about religions freedom...but, I don’t think Obomba thinks so...obviously by his second proclamation today.
I was trying to think of an image that is true. Fire bombing worked in this instance.
But so does the image of the Cambodian man from the Killing Fields. He really did walk on skulla to get away from Pol Pot.
Wow. Now that’s a compilation.
I recognized the face immediately. I think the powder blue’s to remind us that he’s really not one of those up-tight Catholic priests who stick to dogma. Guess he didn’t dare show up in a Santorum sweater. Priests like him are responsible for schisms. They’re the same ones that tell you in Confession that he understands why you’ve got to get an abortion at this incredibly delicate period of your life, why you’ve got to continue taking the pill. I asked my father once how these priests rationalized or justified giving such advice. Did they take on the sin themselves, I asked. The answer was, of course, no. Any priest giving advice like that committed a whole new sin, and worse than the one he was forgiving in God’s name—scandal.
Its about POWER. Most Catholics dont realize this:
Wouldn't that make her a whore? See what Obama wants is to be her pimp. Drugs for votes.
This is a life issue and a freedom issue. I think it’s so important to keep all the facts (some not so factual) together for everyone to at least glance at. Yes, it took some time, but I believe in what I am doing.
This sort of stuff comes from liberal social worker mush think. If it’s a pill, it has to be about “health.” Bull squat.
Some Protestant denominations that have easy policies about contraceptives (at least in marriage) are nonetheless incensed about this too. They agree that Roman Catholic churches should be able to follow their conscience about what God wants them or doesn’t want them to provide, knowing that if this camel gets to snooze in the tent of American Catholic churches, they themselves will probably be the next to be co-opted.
Or that in the case of the Catholic churches, that the church chips in, either directly or indirectly. Uh-uh. No way. I am not a Catholic and have never been one, but I say Amen brother about this one.
Every child has a mother and a father. A child can be male or female. Pregnancy and related issues are not “women’s issues.”
Think of Rotterdam in May 1940. Even though the city had surrendered the Luftwaffe bombed it anyway. 800 Dutch civilians were killed.
I’m watching the rerun of Hannity now. It was a good program.
It’s nearly over but he had “Shamu” Greene on again with her typical bobble-head talk (looks like her neck isn’t firmly in place). Also found out she’s just another of the far left liberals from Austin TX. I’m sick of seeing her appear on so many FNC programs, where she just smiles and raises her voice to talk over everyone else.
Just another day and another overreach by our would be emperor.
Isn’t it also true that it’s the individual States that regulate their insurance carriers and have requirements for which coverages must be offered?
I don’t recall seeing anything that says the Federal Gov’t. can do so; especially if tried by an executive order.
Lucky for you that Al Sharpton doesn't read the threads on FR, or he'd be calling you a racist for blaming the poor spelling on a Black Berry.
If the government is going to mandate that insurance plans must cover the cost of birth control, it should also mandate that the plans cover the cost of wine purchases.
Of course the plan would not have to cover really expensive bottles of wine, just regular decent table wine.
It would be interesting to find out how much money she spends on 'entertainment'; going out with friends, drinks, etc. If she can't afford to pay for her own birth control, why is she spending money on all that other stuff?
