When will the whole of the “Obamacare fiasco” be declared unconstitutional?

“...nothing is free...somebody is paying for it... “

This is a simple case of politicizing health care. Those costs to the health insurance carriers that the government requires to provide “free” contraceptives to the insured of Catholic insttituions if they so elect will be passed on to to the universe of premium paying insureds. They will subsidize it. The federal government has no business in determining the extent of coverage, That should be left to the individual and the marketplace.

Yes

No

(Results not scientific)

I say hell no! It is not a right to be given contraception, it is a privilege if that is what you want to call it. I don’t understand why people think they have a right to everything. Well, I want a gun - would you consider that a right? Well in the sense that I should have the right to own a gun, but I do not have a right to have everyone else pay for it....... *smackhead*

Free contraceptives - sure. Just keep your legs closed.

Works every time.

And it's free!

Equally important, should health insurance companies be required to give men free condoms and vasectomies?

NO is now up to 91%. Finally a poll with only choice being Yes or No. Never understood why someone would participate in a poll if they are undecided!

I think polls are a waste of time, but this one is sillier than most.

Any adult who thinks that anyone is entitled to anything free from anyone else, must also embrace the money fairy.

In other words doesn't belong in adult company, and is actually dangerous if he has demagoguic tendencies..

Has a reason been stated for classifying birth control as a health measure?

No reason necessary when the totalitarians decide to pervert language.

Wasting taxpayer money is now called "investment."
Taxes no longer exist. It is now "revenue enhancement."
"Transparency" now means we'll tell you what we did ten years from now.
"Fairness" now means from each according to his abilities.
"Fairness" also means to each according to his needs.

I'm sure Freepers can list 50 examples in no time.
Or they can wait for the "great Uniter" to invent them.

I'm a Catholic, why doesn't the Church's health insurance cover my oil change and my $1,000 deductible?

I guess they want their recreational sex funded by someone else. Maybe insurance companies could be mandated to provide me with free ski lift tickets. That's my favorite winter time recreation.

I want to say no but state governments have already been telling insurance companies what they must cover, what the co-pays must be, etc. for a long time now.

Then, no matter what they call it, it's no longer insurance.

In the 1960’s women didn’t even have coverage for pregnancy or birth. They made financial package deals with their doctors instead.
*****************
My daughter was born in 1964 and I worked for an airline. The health insurance DID provide for such coverage.

****
How can the Federal Gov’t try to dictate to the insurance firms what they must or must not cover? It’s my understanding that each State separately specifies what coverages must be provided within the State to be licensed to operate within the State. Is Obama ignoring the 10th Amendment again????

Unless I am involved, I don’t want to pay for anyone’s contraceptives, because, at that point it is just for fun, reproduction is not involved. Next will be anal lube for the fags.

If the government wants to something worthwhile with insurance, have all home owners buy a .45.
