“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

Dear children, let us not LOVE with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18

This week we as Americans lost our right to freedom of religion. Thanks to the cult of liberalism they invented a right to healthcare as a way to strip every American church in the country their right to worship in the way they wish. Churches now have to get permission from a dictatorial edict which church doctrines can be worshipped and which cannot. Commie libs have always hated the Catholic Church just like they hate every institution that stands in their way and this is the latest vilification that has gone on for decades. This is the first step down a long pathway of strangling the church of its ability to stand against birth control and eventually the big prize which is abortion on demand.

Every communist in history has attacked the Christian church and the right for people to worship in the fashion they desired. The reason is due to the spiritual battle the church represents. Liberalism is formed by a cult worship which is a stumbling block to the ultimate slavery a centralized gummit demands. Our national religion is an atheistic cult that is built around evolution and moral relativism. This cult claims that man is the highest evolved being and liberals are a higher evolution than God believers since worshipping God is not scientific or logical to these cult followers. They tend to believe that communism is a higher form of gummit then our democracy. Since they are in their minds an evolved species than simpletons who have the crutch of God then the only thing greater than they are is a group of people or a gummit. This is their ultimate god and what they truly worship and put their faith in and are so fundamental in their belief and superiority they force others to worship their god too.

Now we have witnessed the taking over of the Christian church by the godless liberal cult. They are using women as the props to execute their plan with the old smoke and mirror phrase of giving them free contraception. Their next step will be to force the churches to allow free abortion as a contraception since the abortion pill is a small step from the actual procedure. Abortion is not only allowed in Deathcare but is encouraged to feed their Planned Parenthood DNC laundry machine. The next step will be to tell the church what they can and can’t preach such as preaching that homosexuality is a sin. They will step in and declare it hate speech and will force pastors to either stop preaching the truth or have their churches shut down and perhaps jailing.

What will happen if a church says they will not offer a policy that allows free contraception because the church believes that contraception goes against God’s will. Will the gummit force the church to offer it even when it doesn’t want to nor could they possibly shut the church down or the pastor or priest jailed? What is the punishment when a priest takes a stand and says this is not about who pays or doesn’t pay but is a sacred teaching that they expect their practitioners to follow? This is not a right but a choice and the church has every right under God to worship the way they want without fear of a President.

This is a perfect example of what happens when you get something for free from the gummit, you pay with your freedom. When you don’t have the freedom to worship openly then you don’t really have any freedom at all. This was the primary goal of obummercare to take people’s freedom away. You are now a slave to the gummit, since they now literally own your life. We have now given them the ability to take away your ability to worship as well as the decision between your life and death. Welcome to Stalinist Russia. Ask the Christians in old Russia, Cuba or North Korea how tolerant their commie leaders are to God fearing Christians and you will find oppression and persecution like this.

This President has found a way to fight every institution the liberals hate. He knew there would be a backlash from the Catholic Church so the initial edict was not the deal he thought he could get. You never make your first offer the offer you expect but something you can compromise from. He did this and you could see it in his eyes as he offered this pathetic solution to a problem he created. He now has a position where both the insurance industry and the church can be vilified while he is friends with all the feminists.

The question is whether the church can explain how they have lost their separation of Church and State. The Founders did not say that state needed to be atheistic and have no signs of religion; they said there would be no interference from the state that would not allow the freedom to worship as you please. This is exactly what this edict is doing and is why we lost our religious freedoms this week. You don’t see the ACLU crying about church and state here, you simply see them for what they are which is commies who want this country and its freedoms destroyed. Losing our religious freedoms is as basic as it gets and paves the way for a tyranny we will never be able to remove if left to stand. The churches need to unite and stand firm against this path to religious intolerance while it is still on the ground before we begin seeing the state monitoring and censoring what pastors will and won’t be able to preach. This is a shot across the bow, warning the church that the spiritual war has just begun and he is about to remove his biggest roadblock to communist slavery, Jesus Christ.

Pray for America

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily mine, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

Every single Christian needs to stand together on this issue and vehemently and thoroughly state that Obama has no authority to make such rules.

In fact, every American needs to do so, regardless of their religious beliefs or even if they're atheists.

We have natural rights, given to us by God, or, if you wish, rights we have inherently because we are human beings, that no government can remove, although they can repress, with violence and in violation to human rights.

We see it all the time; the vast majority of the Earth's people are often under this oppression, but we in America threw off this governmental aggression and codified our rights by putting them in our Constitution, which is the American document by which the United States government derive their power and moral authority.

This includes the President of the United States. He cannot just make a rule that violates the Constitution. He does not have the authority.

To that end, he MUST be opposed. It is NOT good enough that, because he got some political pressure, he's “relenting” and giving in a very little bit by obfuscating who “pays”.

Once again, the whole issue is he does not have any authority to violate the first amendment of the US Constitution.

This must CLEARLY be stated by us all. He has no authority nor power to do so.

This week we as Americans lost our right to freedom of religion.

Thanks for your time and effort each week. However, let us be clear that we did not lose any God given right last week. What we lost is the proper role of government in securing that right; just as the right to life remains unsecured.

This government has become destructive of those rights.

Our congressional leaders should be leading the charge against Obama's conduct.

Per usual, they are violating their oath of office and must be replaced for their malfeasance wherever possible.

Boehner took to the floor of the House and said that this is a violation of the First Amendment. The House is introducing legislation to do so. Marco Rubio and Joe Manchin of West Virginia have introduced a bill in the Senate to stop this.

As you can see, they ARE doing something, but you have to dig through Twitter and blogs to find it, because the MSM aren’t covering it.

There is really just no end to the things this guy is doing for which he has no authority. He’s “giving away” billions of dollars of cell phones and cell phone minutes, that is to say forcing taxpaying Americans to buy phones for deadbeats like that garbage on the street outside CPAC this week. Where’s the clause in the Constitution that allows him to steal our money and buy cell phones for dolts and losers?

"Governor Palin...how has the tragic death of Whitney Houston affected your family, and how may it affect your plans for the upcoming primary season?"

FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): White House chief of staff Jack Lew, former Gov. Sarah Palin, R-Alaska.

Fox could give us a half hour of the most important conservative voice on the planet, a virtual RATINGS MACHINE, and instead they are gonna waste time with this Jack Lew creep—??

And they did not even show Sarah’s blowout speech at CPAC yesterday, are you kidding me? Do they want no viewers? Must be.

For years I’ve been saying a conservative cable news network is there to be made, and a fortune on it too.

Oh well.

Pray for a brokered convention.

I think it interesting Jack Lew is on. He must be trying for damage control on the HHS edict and fake compromise.

I want to see if Wallace can actually pin him down or if at least he will try.

Palin could be helpful if she addresses the 1st Amendment thing directly.

Morning AB, All…..

Been an odd week, huh?

Before, as always, thank you for doing this thread.

I wrote my priest an email and queried as to why he didn’t cover this matter from the pulpit.

Well that’s not exactly right. I wrote Father Jim an email asking the above and, it would seem, Father Jim DID cover this issue from the pulpit.

In fact, Father Jim wrote me back, nicely, he not only covered it, he received a standing ovation at the 8:30 am mass the prior Sunday and he was the one who insured that a copy of the Bishop’s letter was included in that week’s bulletin.

It would seem that I only attended the OTHER priest’s mass, to which Father J said I should email HIM and ask why he didn’t cover the matter.

Now I scratch my head because I kind of thought such as covering this very important issue would be something agreed on by all the clergy, AND, also, well I don’t want to go writing the other priest doing a nanny-nanny-boo-boo Father J said I should write you….yada, yada.

So I left this matter alone at this point because Bishop Malooly’s letter was indeed inserted in that week’s bulletin, I verified with the choir that Father J DID cover this matter, and last time I told Father J he looked like his dog he got mad at me although his dog is very handsome.

Anyway, Father J said I should attend the church’s “right to life” meetings, which I can’t as they meet on the nights I have choir practice. Also another church office worker sent me an email and told me that the right-to-life meeting for that night was cancelled, but I had no intention of going anyway.

A couple of days letter this same church office worker emails me that she’d inadvertantly included the email of another parishioner who’d written Father J about the same thing, would I please ignore the text of that email.

Which made me immediately go back and check and sure enough the text included in Father J’s response to me was from other parishioners although it was very tame and I didn’t know them and I won’t tell. Evidently Father J writes his email leaving his staff to copy and paste into the appropriate email and seriously, he does look like his dog.

So I am still a campaign treasurer, got all the rules and stuff on this matter….wish me luck. This should be interesting, definitely a learning experience.

Looking forward to a rollicking Sunday talk show thread because there sure is plenty to talk about.

Well said. Our enemy, and the enemy of this thread who we’re reporting on every Sunday, is the MEDIA.

Focus people. Hammer the driveby media as they continue to do so to us. Who destroyed Sarah Palin? Who attacked George Bush daily (as he did not often fight back)? Who has supported Obama from day one and NEVER investigated him as they have done Palin, Cain, Gingrich, etc, etc, and every Republican who stands in their way?

I think it should be clear to us all. The MEDIA is our enemy.

As usual, bray, you are spot on.

This issue has been chosen by the tyrants as the Lexington/Concord moment of their creeping occupation. Which side will ultimately prevail depends on our actions and resolve now.

Will we angrily assemble and beat the redcoats back to Charleston and besiege Boston until they leave - or will we supinely comply and let them do their nefarious will?

Washington DC has morphed into the 21st century version of the British Crown.

""The once-happy and peaceful plains of America are either to be drenched in blood or inhabited by slaves. Sad alternative! But can a virtuous man hesitate in his choice?"- George Washington, 1775, after the Battle of Lexington and Concord

Paul Ryan on ABC,on Medicare going bankrupt. The pres’s health care law takes 1/2 Trillion from Medicare to spend on obamacare.

On contraception proposal - Ryan says this is not a compromise; the pres is treating our consitutional rights as revokable priveledges from our govt. If obama is willing to do this in an election year, imagine what he will be willing to do in the future. This proposal by the pres. is a distiction without a difference. A lot of Catholic institutions are self-insured, so they will be forced to pay the mandates.

I wrote this before I went to the 4:30 mass yesterday and this was a most interesting experience.

First, Father J conducted the 4:30 mass, something he almost NEVER does. But I was glad to hear it would be him and I pondered if at this late date he would discuss this contraception issue.

Comes time for the homily, Father J approaches the pulpit, BANGS his fist on the podium, and with his voice on BOOM setting, says...”Two weeks ago the current administration declared pregnancy a DISEASE!”

I settled in for what I hope would be a roaring few minutes.

Indeed Father J went on, filling in all the details, us parishioners all spellbound, me so proud of my church that was standing up for its principles as it always has. Like them or not, the Catholic church took a stand on birth control, abortion and sterilization and never backed down despite tremendous pressures to do so.

With more surprise, yesterday being the day after Obama’s big “compromise”, Father J even touched this subject, telling us what Obamer offered...ie “free” contraception and day-after pills, always with his BOOM voice on. He put his hands to the side of the podium in a clench and lowered his head conspiratorally.

“Does anybody think this contraception is really going to be free?” he boom-whispered.

A child, oh maybe about four years old, shouted out, “NO”.

Of course we all broke out in laughter at such good timing but Father J used the interlude well. “Even the children get it,” he said.

He went on to explain that Obamer said that the health insurers would be able to save money on delivery rooms, OB’s and such, thus the funds to provide free contraceptives.

He then lowered his voice to a boom-whisper once again. I paraphrase: “Watch out you senior citizens. Because if he’s willing to save money on the unborn, what makes you think he won’t want to save money via euthanasia instead of spending money extending the lives of the elder?”

It was a stem-winder all right.

I think, just tween you and I, that Father J deliberately conducted this mass he so seldom does specifically BECAUSE there were complaints that the other priest did not address the issue.

Just a hunch. He has my admiration and I shall tell him so next time I see him.

On a final note, before sending us on our way, Father J asked if we’d did like the Bishop asked and contacted our local politicos.

I put very little stock in Boehner's words which is a direct result of his past in-actions and deceptions. He, like a number of them, loves to get face time and credit on safe positions. Just as my congressman, Mike Simpson R,ID., in the last election said "WE have to get back to the Constitution" but fell in with the establishment republicans when it came to the issue of cutting the debt and didn't support TEA Party positions.

They just mouth nice sound bites without any intention whatsoever of fulfilling their words! Because of my situation here and degree of difficulty communicating, my efforts appear tø be going downhill and to the negative so my replies will be few and far between .............no offense intended! :O)

Morning AB. Glad this thread is up,thanks for providing it and hello to everyone.

I can see why hack lew is the new chief of Staff,he's so far up zero's butt he can't see.

Everything is our fault, budget, renewing the cut in SS tax which helps destroy the fund etc., etc.true socialist. DNC dave trying to get rid of the 1,000 days with no budget problem lew blames it on the Senate, they refuse to bow to obama.

Now DNC dave trying to get rid of austerity/budget cuts(these guys are so slick in their wording/phrasing) program cost cutting, slick words. Lew says it would destroy the economy. We need massive govt. spending. He's a true socialist. ,Payroll tax holiday instead of saying destroying SS fund. These guys have slick wording for everything. No austerity/budget cuts since business is bad--in rat language that means we never cut spending only add on.True socialist/Marxist lets destroy capitalism theology.

I have longed believed that the Elite Left has felt insulated from their own policies because they could afford the added cost of the scams. But I also have felt that at some point the leftist power grab would eventually hit many in a very personal way. And at that point they would also rise up and say “No”. Oddly this may be that tipping point.

Morning all,

Great post AB! Amen!

“Every American needs to stand together”

I think a lot of them are. I haven’t been watching Hannity much lately - getting home from work late and/or got bored with him. However, I did watch last Friday night and he had a variety of clergy on. There was only 1 Rabbi from NY that was basically OK with it, most/all the rest were not, including another Rabbi. Father Jonathan Morris (a Fox contributor & whom I like very much) was great and a Black Clergyman (I don’t recall his name, but IIRC he was from a church in a Seattle suburb - Kirkland)was Fabulous!!

As Huckabee has said a few times, “We’re all Catholics now”.
Huckabee had a good point on Fox n Friends yesterday a.m.:

Paraphrasing: He takes an aspirin, various vitamins, etc. every day because he chooses to - he doesn’t expect the government to pay for those. Why should all of us be expected to pay for someone’s BC pills - it’s their choice if they choose to take them.

Sarah up now talking about the GOP-E and who they are.

Prempts Ryan on my TV.

She’s responding to Lews comments. “Shocked at the spin” how faith based Americans offended at the erosion of their religious freedom

The problem is that too many people think that events don’t happen when they are not covered on television.

People fall into that with the 24-hour cable channels, thinking that with that much air time, everything important will get coverage.

Wrong. Part of the media’s control is the suppression of information, done cleverly with distracting stories which catch the public’s attention. Car chases instead of coverage or bills introduced by the GOP. And just last night, Whitney Houston’s death consumed all evening programming, ignoring the continued and escalating opposition to the HHS contraception mandate.

This refusal to carry stories is the source of the questions about “Why doesn’t Boehner DO something?” when, in fact, he has introduced numerous bills which have passed but are being held hostage in the Senate.

Santorum - that’s pretty funny for Romney to be accusing him of acting like a democrat. George Steph. asks (in a serious voice), “Why is that funny?” (Hello, George??) Santorum goes on to explain how it is funny.

George plays a 2006 campaign ad where Santorum talks about raising minimum wage, funding AMtrak. Santorum explains why he did this for this limited campaign/time frame in PA. Accuses Romney of doing far worse with the “Indexed” minimum wage. (okay, here’s another issue I have no idea what he’s talking about).

Now talking about women in combat - George asks Santorum about section in book about women feeling forced to join/stay in the work force because of radical feminism. Santorum explains that chapter was cowritten by his wife (a nurse and a lawyer). His wife thought a lot of people looked down their nose at women who chose to stay at home and raise their family. (Santorum is right on this issue......they do.)

I just saw Lew on Chris Wallace and he is the most evasive, lying, Marxist SOB I have ever seen. An absolute ideologue and mouth piece for Obama. Wallace did a good job and basically made him into a liar.

Heh, Sarah “mis-spoke” and said “ObomneyCare” after calling Romney a fine candidate.

Now Wallace asks her to compare Newt to Santorum.

Palin calls for the candidates to make their own case and stop ripping into each other.

As Claire Wolfe says....
"America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards."

Well, IIRC she wrote that in the early nineties. Anybody heard from her since the anointed one came to power?
