If someone is a “child” at 26 years of age, they should not be responsible enough to vote, take out a loan to buy a house, drink, a whole list of other things “children” should not do. I can see 23 for school, even though you can buy cheap insurance through the college. But, these “children” are staying on parent’s plan and the corporations have to continue to pay for them, as offered. Even if they have never gone to college and are out working. When do we say our “children” become adults. Lousy excuse to keep obamacare.

Her argument was completely irrelevant - what she said has nothing to do with whether or not Obamacare is Constitutional.

The judge declared that unconstitutional so she has her district back...so she will probably be sticking around.

The GOP in Florida did not outdistrict West - the existing district had to be redrawn the way it was due to the Amendment 6 that was passed - the GOP in Florida opposed that amendment and filed a lawsuit after it passed in Federal court to have it declared invalid but they lost the suit. A new district was drawn that was open and more favorable to West that he is now running in.

Especially since many insurance plans will in fact continue to cover them voluntarily if they remain a full time student - no federal mandate was needed and that provision is the least of the problems with the bill - she thinks that’s good - fine - that doesn’t make the other things in the bill constitutional or practical. Her argument is irrelevant.
