BIG TIME PRAYERS for the health and well-being of Justice Breyer and Ginsberg. May they remain in top-notch health until King Obama is dethroned on Jan 20, 2013.

The article has expanded some since I posted it. There is now the following added info:
The last time a justice was the victim of a crime was in 2004, when a group of young men assaulted Justice David Souter as he jogged on a city street. Souter suffered minor injuries.

In 1996, a man snatched Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's purse while she was out walking with her husband and daughter near their home in Washington. Ginsburg was not hurt.

Let us hope so.

But I doubt it, liberalism is part of his livelihood. Think of the women who go to 3rd world hell-holes as ‘volunteers’ or whatever, get raped, and STILL find a way to blame it on white, Christian, preferably Southern, American men.

Check this out:

http://www.gunpolicy.org/firearms/region/st-kitts-and-nevis

In 2009, the rate of homicides committed with firearms was 44.23 per 100,000. By comparison, the comparable rate in the US was 2.98 per 100,000.

I haven't been able to find an authoritative source about gun laws in Nevis, but I suspect it's something like New York City.

Tomorrow Justice Breyer will issue an apology to all members of the burglar’s ethnic group.

West Indies could be almost anywhere south of Puerto Rico. I am just guessing that it was in the USVI. We spend a month or so on sail boats in the British Virgin Islands every year and have never seen or experienced any kind of crime. No so for the USVI. Lot of it there. We no longer make the sail from BVI to USVI for that specific reason.

“Cruising no doubt.”

Is he a sodomite, or is that just a rumor?

Souter, Ginsberg, Breyer, all involved in strongarm robberies, yet continued their “soft on crime” liberal jurisprudence. 3/9 people get mugged and they STILL don’t freakin’ get it. Most people go their entire lives without being attacked, and THEY “get it”.

About a decade or so ago, me and eight friends spent 9 days sailing from island to island in the BVI. We never once saw a policeman, and never once saw the need for one. What a wonderful place.

At first I thought it said robed. Then I envisioned Justice Breyer getting the James Brown treatment as he sat down at the bench.

Inquiring minds wonder why a US Supreme Court judge owns property in an offshore tax haven.

Nevis, which surprises me. I haven't been there in awhile, but it was a small, quiet, peaceful island compared to St. Kitts which was more urban and more crime-ridden (relatively speaking).

Things have apparently changed, vide this article: Murder, shooting and larceny accounts for 60% of Nevis' crime, says Inspector of Police..

According to Inspector Mitchell, statistical data from the Nevis Police Division for the past five years indicated that there were no incidents of murder in 2005; one in 2006, two in 2007, five in 2008, three in 2009 and four so far for 2010. All but three were as a result of gunshot injuries and haemorrhage and shock were common words seen on autopsy reports. In relation to larceny offences and those related to dishonesty he disclosed that there were 183 out of 291 reported crimes in 2005; 179 out of 270 reports in 2006; 174 out of 284 in 2007; 196 out of 358 in 2008; 173 out of 334 reports in 2009.

“The solvability of these crimes, the picture is this: 48 percent in 2005; 50 percent in 2006; 45 percent in 2007; 46 percent in 2008; 36 percent in 2009 and so far in 2010 it is 45 percent. With the exception of 2009, Nevis enjoyed a fair detection rate with an average of 47 percent when compared with the international standard of 1 in 3 crimes or 33 percent.

Nevis police couldn't catch cold when I was last there, but then they weren't really needed. I would think they would be strongly motivated to catch this dude, whoever he is. They just got a big black eye in the world press.

Oops, sorry. I read right over the fact that it was Nevis. Never been there.

Alexander Hamilton was born and raised there. A place I would like to visit, I think.

It's not a tax haven so far as I know (although the new administration is pushing offshore banking). It's still a British affiliated island (or pair of islands, actually) but independent, and I'd say 99% of their income is still tourism.

Breyer is just a part-time member of the expat community that you'll find all over the Caribbean. The cost of living is low, so vacation homes are very affordable. If you play your cards right, you don't even need to buy one. My parents stayed free at a friend's villa for years, since my dad is a very competent plumber and electrician and my mom does interior design. Whenever their friends didn't need the place, they would show up with a big box of stuff and get to work, and incidentally loll on the beach and drink rum punches on the veranda. Not a bad deal.

Perhaps this will persuade Breyer to take compulsion and armed robbery into account when ObummerCare comes before the court.
