The former Marine wrote on his Facebook page that Child Protective Services officials came to his home in Stanly Co. on Saturday and interviewed him and his daughter separately after viewers of the video called with concerns about his actions.
He said the police also stopped by.
The police by the way said Kudos, sir, Jordan wrote. "I actually had a "thank you" from an entire detectives squad. And another police officer is using it in a positive manner in his presentation for the school system. Hows about those apples? Didnt expect THAT when you called the cops did you?

I also hope the dad was smart enough to sign up to make money off his Youtube video, 21 million hits is probably enough to buy several new laptops...uh, I mean boxes of ammo.
Great story. Good Dad.
Seems some of the nanny government, controlling, “Homeowners Associations” types, spit up when seeing the video.
That’s just too damn bad for them.
Its the police's job to investigate. Putting someone at ease is part of the process. I would not read anything into such comments from the police other than they are trying to get my guard down.
I’m google ads and most have made a little over a hundred bucks. Since I can’t seem to come up with anything really sensational, I guess I can’t complain.
Maybe when my $30 wonder dell D810 dies, I will try to come up with some way of creative destruction.
I won't go into details on a public post as it would attract some unwelcome attention from certain agencies involved with national security, but I can arrange for a truly spectacular end to that machine.
Dad shoots laptop of lazy whiner daughter.
The liberal whiners and teenagers were out in droves with that video. If I had said any of those things about my parents my dad would have busted my arse. Today they call the authorities over a man, in his own property, with his own gun, shooting the laptop he paid for. Oy.
“Good job dad...” Good job Marine!
He took action when required and is not taking any guff from his daughter. Hopefully, she learned something and will be a better person for it... You can you imagine her telling HER kids this story?!
By the way, if any of you want a great laugh, google: “Ten Rules For Dating The DI’s Daughter.” It’s OUTSTANDING!
What she did was wrong, but dad’s a jerk.
The decision to visit was made by the butch feminazi’s at cps. He shouldn’t have allowed them to interview his daughter.
CPS should be eliminated.
daddy is indeed a jerk.....this will come back to bite him probably pretty quick.....humiliating his dtr in front of millions over stupid silly teenage conversation....which all of us have done.....and besides....the parents might indeed be lazy...
Along with 65 percent of all levels of government.
99.999% of those "millions" have no clue who that kid is, so she's not really humiliated.
Dad’s a jerk, eh?
I wish my dad had been around to care about anything I did. He was out screwing around while my mom had 7 kids. The eldest went to Nam and sent her more money than his father ever did. Same with the other 2 boys.
You may not like dad, but he sure does demand respect. I reckon he’s usually really easy going like God with Pharoah. there were 9 other times he did lesser punishments and this time was his favorite.
You Go, Dad. Thanks for loving your daughter.
Dad did a good thing!
I’m guessing anyone who disagrees didn’t pay close attention to the whole video, especially the part where he says the divorced Mom requested him to fire another round off, in her name!
No need to crucify the daughter, or attack the dad, stepmother and mom.
He handled it just fine, IMHO.
whoever approved this investigation should have her laptop shot.
The department should have a serious budget cut if they have time to look into this case.
The father did it right.
Dad’s next step is to prohibit any cell phone.
next start removing college savings.
This is great big stuff. Maybe it'll turn the young lady around a bit. Who knows?
BTW, if you're going to live somewhere, ya got to contribute and respect...Cook, clean, change the oil or sell on ebay whatever. Otherwise you're heavy luggage, dead weight, and not respecting those pushing the wagon you're riding in. >Not you personally<.
I wish them both, and Mom too..the best of luck.
That was a hoot. I rate it as a 5 on the, "Dad's Pissed" scale.
stupid silly teenage conversation....which all of us have done.
No, I don’t think so. It was highly disrespectful of that girl to speak that way about her parents. Very sad. I never would have dreamed of speaking about my parents that way, even when I was very angry with my very strict mother. And what a little potty mouth she is, too.
I highy doubt the parents are lazy! The stepmom is a veterinarian with her own clinic and according to her website is working 5:30am to 8:30pm with foaling and calving. Dad has a few irons in the fire, too. He owns several businesses, if I recall correctly.
But didn’t she use the very same arena to humiliated him?
Yeah, it was a "stupid silly teenage conversation" that she posted on her Facebook page. You didn't watch the video, did you?
He read her Facebook post including her publicly wishing to be around when her parents got too old to wipe their own a$$es. Who humiliated who publicly?
“99.999% of those “millions” have no clue who that kid is, so she’s not really humiliated.”
But the 0.001% who DO know who she is are her live, in-person friends.
Part of me thinks what dad did is funny; part thinks he’s a jerk. Mostly, I tend to think his daughter probably is a spoiled brat. (but who makes kids into brats?)
I tell kids I know in real life, be very, very careful what you post at Facebook. If not your parents, future employers can made a decision based on what you post. Better to be very reserved, save your kvetching/cursing/whatever for private, in-person meetings with friends.
If ya ever get called for jury duty, tell um you already made up your mind. Stamp guilty on the card, and send it back.
My experience is that when children know they are unconditionally loved and that their parents truly care about them, they are more than happy to pitch in as much as possible.
Excellent response!!! I get real tired of the holier than though types bashing every form of authority they can.
I wonder if they value money more than happiness. He's really upset over that $130 he spent on software.
He's not parenting his daughter. He's in a battle with with her, and so enraged his hands are shaking. . They may not be lazy as far as work goes, but they may be lazy parents.
Great job dad...ignore the whiney snivelers!
dtr instead of daughter?........does it rly take mor time to rite out the hole werd?........u rite lik a 3d grader.......
Moonman no offense, but I bet your a Moonwoman.
Really, no offense meant.
My two best friends each have two daughters. One friend has two in graduate school and the other has two in high school. I’m very impressed with how they’ve turned out, and we live in a part of the country where it’s difficult to raise good children. I’ve seen how it’s done.
