OLYMPIA, Wash. — Gov. Chris Gregoire handed gay rights advocates a major victory Monday, signing into law a measure that legalizes same-sex marriage in Washington state, making it the seventh in the nation to allow gay and lesbian couples to wed.

Gregoire signed the bill surrounded by gay rights supporters. “I’m proud our same-sex couples will no longer be treated as separate but equal,” she said.

coming to all 50 states

if not by legislation, stuffed down your throat by an activist judge

my only question is now as I don’t think they care about gays or marriage or even gay marriage...big question.. what will they want next ?

A citizens initiative is already in the works to overturn this. My bet is that there will be outright harassment wherever signature gatherers will be. Our fudge packer supporters here in Seattle are second only to San Fran Freako in their depravity.

Do it in the churches. Pass the petition with the plate.

See if the scum have the guts to disrupt mass.

When the state is involved, at least in modern times, their definition of marriage is simply going to be what pols, judges or the majority think it can be at any one time. I hope they get their popular vote process going, I bet it will be a really close one though, if it passes at all in that state.

Was this voted on by the citizens of Washington State, or did the legislature just up and decide this?

RE: Was this voted on by the citizens of Washington State, or did the legislature just up and decide this?

Of course there was NO REFERENDUM. You can’t have common people deciding when the elite legislature and executive were VOTED in by them to decide for the masses.

I, too, am opposed to homosexual relationships as being treated as separate but equal. They clearly are not equal.

Some fine ‘catholic’ that election stealing Gov. is ay?
How some people have no fear of God is beyond me. Eternal hell is an awful place to go and there they will finally be ‘believers’.... the very thought of it gives me the shudders.

RE: Some fine ‘catholic’ that election stealing Gov. is ay?

We ought to remind ourselves that being BAPTIZED into a church as an infant does not mean that one grows up to be a real believer.

I know of MANY atheists who were baptized at birth.

In this sense, many churches that baptize infants are really miscounting their church membership. They are including those who have DESERTED their faith.

New Amendment:

“That any state, having passed any ordinance or law legalizing or otherwise sanctioning same sex marriage, forfeits its place in the United States, including its representation in the Congress, becoming a territory or dependency until such time as the ordinance or law sanctioning same sex marriage is repealed, whereupon the territory may apply for statehood.”

This would settle the issue, I’d think.

Like in the UK. There it was the citizens who voted for abortion. In the US it was mandated by the SCOTUS.

Yes...specifically, they will repeat their voter intimidation tactic of publishing the names of anybody who signs the initiative. That will dissuade a lot of people in Washington from signing, just because they don't want to deal with their invariably gay and/or leftist coworkers shitting on them for their beliefs.

Another victory for the Filth — they are truly on a roll. The recent decision to strike down California’s Prop 8....Obama’s fatwa against Christianity via this HHS rule....now gay ‘marriage’ in Washington.

Let’s do an empirical study, shall we? Take a normal married couple, (man+woman) and an abnormal, homosexual couple, (man+man, or woman+woman). Put each couple in a contained complete environment. At a certain point the heterosexual couple will have a baby. The “Gay” couple will never produce a child. Excrement? Certainly, but Life? Never...Choose Life.

Luke 17:26-37

King James Version (KJV)

26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

32 Remember Lot’s wife.

33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

Personally, I’d welcome a faggot trying to confront me on signing the petition, he wouldn’t do it for more than a second. I was actually upset that my name didn’t appear on the donor list for California’s Prop 8 for the “harassThyNeighbor.org” filth to contact me. It would have been fun.
