Could this be significant? It seems a lot of people might disagree with Santorum on some things, but it’s hard not to respect the guy. Ping to Today show list.

The commies can afford to be accepting, and tolerant of the GOP candidates. With the Obama war chest, and the MSM even deeper in the tank for Obama then in 2008, the election isn’t really a concern for them.

Sort the opposite of how a lot of folks feel about Newt...they are for what he says, they just don’t like him.

Santorum has been my guy since Cain was taken out by the establishment hacks. Glad to see he’s getting some traction.

I don’t give a damn who gets the nomination on the R side - Obama must go. I was in the ‘I’m not voting for the lesser of two evils ever again’ camp. But things are too dire to let another Obama term happen. So, I will even choke on it and vote for Mittens. We have very little time left to try to turn things around. But it would be a whole lot easier to pull the lever for Santorum.

Santoru has a 67-23% approval rating among GOP likely voters. Gingrich has a 51% dislike, and Romney is close at 49%. Don’t know about RuPaul, or care. This is stunning, and it if carries over to him as nominee, it will be a big problem for Obama, as the Presidential election is more of a popularity contest than ever. This is why Newt’s debating skills are meaningless. People, especially women, won’t like him personally as much as they do Obama, and he would lose big. It is a sad testament to our nation in decline. Most Americans are remarkably stupid and ignorant.

Santorum is the anti-Obama. Likeable with conservative principles. He'll need to be gentle as a dove, but wise as a serpent to navigate this election. G_d bless him.

That pic of Scarborough leaves me with one word:

“Dork.”

Santorum supporters need to be on their guard about this stuff. This is a backhanded compliment at best. Notice that they still mention the social issues stuff. I've seen Freepers who are saying stupid stuff like Sanotum wants to create a theocracy, outlaw contraceptives, impose Catholicism on us, etc. These are vicious lies that prey upon the anti-Catholic undercurrent that still exists in this country and exists very predominantly on this board. Santorum is campaigning on the economy, jobs and National Security. He's not campaigning on Social Issues, although he doesn't shrink from them when asked.

I plan to wage war against any and all who choose to lie about his positions and who try to scare people with anti-Catholic or pro abortion/ pro gay agenda hyperbole.

What bugs me about the whole “social issues” and “culture war” aspect of politics is that the Christian conservatives allow the secular humanists to maintain the myth of “neutrality”,

as if what they are pushing on society “just is”,
and WE’RE the ones “warring” against it.

Most Americans are not remakbly stupid and ignorant, they just have priorities that are different than the ones you think they should have.

Mika On Santorum: ‘I Don’t Agree With Anything He Says, But I Like The Guy’

Well, I guess it’s possible to feel this way about a Presidential candidate if you have no spiritual center, no core values and a low IQ.

Right. It's as if abortion is the most normal thing in the world and the gay agenda has always been 'normal' and conservatives are the 'weird' ones.

Santorum has said he’s not going to launch personal attacks against Obama, because Americans still seem to like him. He won’t need to... there’s plenty on the policy front to attack.

Unlike every Republican candidate since Reagan. I find Santorum's willingness to pull these issues into the open sunlight a refreshing development.
