Rasmussen poll shows Obama job disapproval 59% among Catholics

How has the Obama administration’s contraception mandate on religious organizations impacted Barack Obama’s standing? According to a new Rasmussen poll, it’s had about the impact one would expect after a few days of consideration. Almost six in ten Catholics now disapprove of Obama’s job performance, and a near-majority strongly disapprove:

Catholics strongly disapprove of the job President Obama is doing as the debate continues over his administration’s new policy forcing Catholic institutions to pay for contraception they morally oppose. While the president’s overall job approval ratings have improved over the past couple of months, they have remained steady among Catholics.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 59% of likely Catholic voters nationwide at least somewhat disapprove of the president’s job performance, while 40% at least somewhat approve. But the passion’s on the side of those who don’t like the job he’s doing: 44% Strongly Disapprove versus 19% who Strongly Approve.

It is distressing the number of Catholics who believe he is doing a good job!

What about the other 41%?

Do they approve of his FORCING Catholic institutions to provide morning after abortion pills?

If the answer is ‘yes’, in what sense are they still ‘Catholic’?

I can see two possible scenarios:

1. zer0 wants to be the bad guy for now, the worse the better for him, so that there is a contrast when he shifts, say, in October so that he looks like a great guy.

2. knowing the lefts internal plans, he couldn’t care less. Either he expects the US to be smoldering embers by November, where the election is meaningless, or something so devastating is planned that he expects nothing to happen in November.

I’ve been wondering about this... It does seem as if he is acting as if he could care less about an election in November. That’s kinda curious.

0bana and his attorney were apparently unconcerned at the possibility of the Kenyan Usurper NOT being on the Georgia ballot and they skipped the court proceedings last month, I maintain they already know there probably won't even BE elections this November.

Either the powers that be that selected him in the first place have assured him he’ll be re-elected, or he knows voter fraud will put him over the top.

Any Catholic or American that thinks Obama is doing a good job, in neither a Catholic, nor an American. Obama is much more of a brother in the Muslim Brotherhood!!!

Sorry. I have no respect for the Catholics who voted for zero in the first place, so why should I respect that they are now disatisfied with him? You reap what you sow.

My family always had a problem with Catholics, I never understood why. Then I married one from South Jersey (Italian/Irish) and see it first hand. Culturally conservative, but voted for Barack. The guilt complex of these people is unreal.

The scenario I am going for is the one where it never occurred to Zero that ANYONE would question his edicts.

I will never forget the tasteless and thoroughly repulsive comment ‘I won.’

That says it all to me.

Oh for certain....much like Union people...who though they know better they still vote democratic out of fear...and guilt. The two go hand in hand it seems.

They won’t let their daughters date blacks/hispanics...but will cry about voting for/believing in Barack.

Then he slaps them in the face with his Marxist secularism...and still...they don’t ‘really’ complain. More concerned with the old WASP elite phantoms of the past, than the utter destruction of this nation in the present. So sad. Has lead to endless dinner table arguments.

They have already started softening the American public to war in the ME ahead. With Egypt throwing in Obamas face the billion dollars we give them...to Syria/Iran and Russia's moving military and equipment etc. at a rapid pace. Things are heating up and Obama is seen as a weakling or they wouldn't be doing so.

I have no doubt we'll see war do more than errupt in a few places...ME nations are reading for a fight.
