After warning men across the country 'go big' this Valentine's day, it appears President Obama took his own advice.
He treated the First Lady to dinner at pricey restaurant Vermilion where plates of caviar, beef and chocolate truffle tarts were on offer.

It is believed they enjoyed the restaurant's lavish Valentine's menu, which included lobster tortelloni, beef with truffle jus and passion fruit cheesecake.
The four-course menu costs $75 for one person - minus the obligatory Valentine's day wine.
The expensive treat came after Obama made an announcement on Tuesday morning reminding men to spoil their partners.
'Let me start with a quick public service announcement for all the gentlemen out there,' he said. 'Today is Valentine's Day.'

He probably also bought her a 700lb box of chocolates for her to enjoy for desert after they returned to the White House, and it’s all gone!(didn’t even let the kids have any). The White House plumbing hasn’t seen anything like this since the Taft Administration!
He can afford it, remember he isn’t paying any rent in hisGovernment subsidised housing, He doesn’t have to buy a car, the Government furnish’s his SUV, and his airplane, He isn’t paying car insurance or health insurance, that is his at our expense, an he doesn’t buy the food or pay the chef at home from his own pocket .
If I had his perks I could take my wife out to a $75.00 dollar dinner too.

Am curious, how many other couple did NOT get served because of Secret Service concerns. Did they clear the restaurant, paying for the empty tables? or just fill the restaurant with friends at our expense?

Looks more like a chinese restaurant decor than anything else.

If the only option I had was to spend a romantic evening with michelle obama......or let her eat herself into a food coma, so she would pass out and I could have a peaceful evening I’d be shoving plates of kobi beef at her too.
