Placing her on the same level as fallen soldiers.
Another reason to drive around the garden state.

What an idiot. Makes the idea of a Romney/Christie ticket even more nauseating...

I have nothing against Whitney Houston I’m sorry she died. Wouldn’t it be best for our youth if instead of honoring her, we cursed her to hell?

It is also done for politicians, who are lower than scum.
She was a New Jersey native. I don’t see a problem with it a state honoring one of its citizens like this.

I wonder if they do this for NJ soldiers who die in war?
I wouldn’t lower a flag for a suicidal celebutard

She was talented, but an abject lesson in what not to be.
on pills and booze and die drunk and stoned in a bathtub.
Tragedy but does not deserve flag honors. Cheapens the act for honoring true heroes.

Ultimately, everyone serves a purpose to God. Some are good examples of how to live in this life, and others, in their death, are examples of how not to live.
Who are you to judge?

I cannot believe this. Christie is a damn fool.

The US Colors being flown at half-staff for an ENERTAINER???? I think they're talking about the NJ State flag here. AFAIK, Governors don't have any say in when the U.S. flag is flown at half-staff.

The National Anthem at the Supwerbowl, 1881, ten days into the Gulf War (Desert Storm)
Could be this is what Christie was thinking, but could we just give the bashing a break, just for her doing this?

Also in honor of the deceased, all gangbanger’s pants will be at half-mast.
To: Nathaniel
I believe it will be the Jersey flag at half mast. The US flag would have to be ordered to half mast by the President.
