A man reportedly suffered a heart attack while eating the “Triple Bypass Burger” on Saturday at a Las Vegas restaurant that serves “Bypass” burgers, “Flatliner” fries and free meals to people who weigh over 350 pounds.

An amateur video posted on Youtube shows the unidentified man being wheeled out of the downtown Heart Attack Grill restaurant on a stretcher after he collapsed in the restaurant that employees told KVVU-TV FOX5 looked like a heart attack.

Restaurant owner “Doctor” Jon Basso told the news station that he initially thought it was a joke when a waitress who told him a customer eating a Triple Bypass burger, which estimated to contain about 6,000 calories, was sweating and shaking.

Actually, according to Dr. Atkins, the only part of this burger that’s bad for you is the bun. Take that away and you’d have close to 0 carbs.

I’ve been on low carb for 12 years. It lowered my triglycerides, cholesterol and blood pressure.

Miss the one in Chandler loved the home made all you could eat fries. Stupid mall tried to force the owner to change his motiff. The owner said no strip mall sued so the owner closed Consequently the mall has had a dramatic drop in business since the place closed.

Look at the wall behind the girl in post # 20. They do indeed sell them french-fried potaters - cooked in pure lard!

That would be an interesting trial, because the evidence that saturated fat and cholesterol contribute to heart disease has been falling apart for decades. At the moment it's more of an old wive's tale than scientific fact.

This was published in 2002 in the New York Times of all places:

What if It's All a Big Fat Lie?

Long, but worth the read. This is the last line in the article (a quote from Dr. David Ludwig, a researcher at Harvard Medical School who runs the pediatric obesity clinic at Children's Hospital Boston):

"Can we get the low-fat proponents to apologize?"

Interesting re 'lawyer' aspect. But hard to sue; given the name of the place. Seems he got what he paid for. At least; no 'covert' advertising or misrepping product.

Preschooler Forced to Eat Chicken Nuggets After Homemade Lunch Confiscated by Government Agent

A North Carolina elementary school forced a preschool student to eat cafeteria chicken nuggets for lunch on Jan. 30 after officials reportedly determined that her homemade meal wasn’t up to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s standards for healthfulness, according to a report from the Carolina Journal.

The newspaper reported that the four-year-old girl brought a turkey and cheese sandwich, a banana, potato chips and apple juice in her packed lunch from home. That meal didn’t meet with approval from the government agent who was on site inspecting kids’ lunches that day.

Heck, they should run with it in their advertising, and perhaps offer a “dead pool” - free meals for the house when someone croaks, say.

Just thinking out loud here...

We're also going to try to replace some of our older servers and failing equipment this year so we're going to add a little extra to our FReepathon goals. John is estimating ten to fifteen thousand to do this and I'd like to get it all in place and working before the election cycle is fully heated up, so we'll try to bring in a little more now if we can and the rest next quarter.

Say Goodbye to the Heart Attack Grill.

By the time Moochelle, Morgan Spurlock and the Ambulance Chasers get done with them the owners won’t have enough cash for the dollar menu at Wendys.
