Rick Santorum’s tax returns suggest his support for American manufacturing hasn’t always extended to his own automobile purchases. His 2008 return shows that Mr. Santorum and his wife, Karen, listed a German car — an Audi A6 — among their business equipment. The car was placed in service on April 1, 2008, and was driven 11,850 miles that year, more than 6,000 of them for business purposes.
His personal business returns for 2009 and 2010 show that he still had a vehicle that was placed in service on April 1, 2008, suggesting that he still owned the Audi.

When an American auto company makes an all wheel drive luxury sedan that compares with the Audi A6, maybe Rick will buy one. And me too, for that matter.

My first though, so f ing what? My second thought is good for him, refusing to drive american after what obama did is arguably patriotic. Final thought, when the media makes a big deal about this for dim’s MAYBE I will give a $#!&.
One of my three cars actually is American-made.
I have an old VW made in Belgium; a newer VW made in Puebla, México; and finally a Honda, made in Alabama, USA!

Folks, in this day and age it’s nearly impossible to purchase a car made in the United States. It’s a real question of percentages when you buy a Chevy, Ford, or any other supposedly American vehicle.
Parts, components, electronics, chips, lights, and more of these vehicles are sourced from overseas.
Okay, so Santorum bought a car with 13 to 27% less American parts than some American model. Wow! String him up.
Actually, Newt owns a Cadillac Escalade. When he was Speaker, he had a ‘67 Mustang. His first car was a ‘62 Plymouth Barracuda.
democrat Obama has put a mountain of debt on all of us( 6 trillion more), has sent all our jobs and factories to China, has let in millions of illegals, grown the government. borrowing trillions more from China instead of cutting now will make the U.S. collapse 1000X worse than Greece. Santorum says:
“We need to get our economy going again, and those who are struggling the most is the great middle of America that has seen their manufacturing jobs flow to India and China. We must reverse course by rebuilding the engine that drove America as a world power.”
That sounds good to me . What’s wrong with what Santorum says?
