Well, does he or she have a name?
Why do we have to drag the bread's race into this?
The NC ‘FBI’ needs to investigate this!
Unless I'm reading it wrong, a follow-up email from DHHS seems to suggest it is one of their employees:
Your request for public records ha been received [sic], as soon as the full report from the Consultants visit is available we will make it available to you...
Just reading they deny all involvement.
And school lunch stories continue to pop! In Magadore, Ohio, near Akron, a student was told she could not eat her sub sandwich, because it was “better” than other student’s lunches, and she might embarrass them!
Does the First Lady have an alibi?
Do you have a link to that story. That sounds interesting!
No link. Sorry. I’ll look around for one. Was the talk of the town yesterday on WNIR Talk Radio.
looks like pink doo doo
Yeah, I know. I read the article too, but they seem to suggest, in that email, that they know something. At least that's how I read it. Either this consultant was the person, or he knows who the person is seems to be suggested. They're going to initially deny an embarrassing situation like this anyway. Try to take the sting out of the moment, if you will. Then, when they have their story choreographed for public consumption, they'll walk out a report like it's no big deal.
Exactly correct. Everyone is trying to get their stories straight. The explanation will be given at some obscure moment and they’ll go on their way.
OR, the guilty parties will float the idea the little girl made the story up just to get someone in trouble.
Great Point!!! This should scare any parant who sends a child to this place.
There's a difference between a consultant and a contractor. DHHS did not say that no consultant did this. So, it sounds to me as if the problem individual would be associated with FPG Child Development Institute.
Find the jerk or jerkette, fire him/her, fire his boss, fire his boss, fire his boss, on up the line until you have no one left to fire.
The country will be better off and saving lots of money.
You can do hard time for that.
...” USDA spokesman Bruce Alexander said the person monitoring the lunches was a North Carolina education staff member [sic] reviewing the facility.
Well, does he or she have a name?”...
It seems that taking a look at Germany in the 1930s is kind of taboo these days, but, I believe people need to take a look. The parallels between what is coming out of our States today and Washington D.C. and their agencies is very comparable to Germany then as is the American passive response to the insanity. I am currently reading IN THE GARDEN OF BEASTS: LOVE, TERROR, AND AN AMERICAN FAMILY IN HITLER’S BERLIN. This book depicts the flaws in human nature which cause people to turn their heads from evil until evil takes over.
Um the girl in questio is four and the mother was contacted to pay up for the lunch they said she had to have....
That’s nacho cheese...
...a preschooler at West Hoke was notified by someone at the school that the lunch she brought from home -- a turkey sandwich with cheese on white whole wheat bread, a banana, a bag of chips, and a container of apple juice -- did not meet USDA guidelines for nutritious meals.Fire the perp, and the perp's supervisor (who may be behind the whole thing), and the entire school board, and the USDA, *and* the Obamas.
"And this school, were told, lost points this year because too many children were bringing their lunches from home and they did not meet, according to this inspector, the USDA guidelines.
I'm betting on the following scenario:
The principal told the staff to crack down on the bag lunch situation. The staff did what the boss ordered. Now that it has gone viral no one wants to own up to the fact that it was an edict that was mindlessly passed down among the ranks. No one had the common sense to ignore it.
They're all guilty.
Please tell me you're kidding.........even if you aren't.
If no one can identify the person (and his nutritional
degree), it was probably a pedophile from DNC Central
to pick up new, fresh, young, victims for ACORN and the DNC.
“And this school, were told, lost points this year because too many children were bringing their lunches from home...”
Lost points, hmmm. Makes one wonder what those points represent in dollars.
All of us who have worked in either government or large businesses know the “CODE.” It pertains to your mandatory actions upon ANY incident or investigation.
When something happens like this, don’t volunteer any information. Don’t speak until spoken to. If possible, leave the room to evade questioning. And...the most important rule is that if you disclose anything, your job or future will be in jeopardy if you violate any of these rules.
While the “worker bees” are actively securing these rules, management is busy “getting their stories straight” in order to make anyone on a lower rung of the ladder to be absolute liars and fools if they squeal and the investigation starts to climb the chain of command.
Been there, done that.
Regardless, the people responsible need to meet the same fate as all Nazis.
There is not the slightest chance that they do not know ALL THE IDENTITIES of the people involved.
This is outlandish! Chicken nuggets are reconstituted chicken, fried, and loaded with fat!
In every public school in the USA, one has to register with the office upon entering the school. Someone is lying at this school. Several people, beginning with the principal, ought to be fired.
Couldn't agree more.
An adult, or adults, who interacted with a four year old child at a pre-school day care center? Of course they know.
I soak mine in buttermilk for about an hour before I flour them.
That story needs to go as big as this one. For some reason this one is hitting people’s hot buttons (as it should but so should $4.00 gas, guns to Mexico, etc.)
IOW's "stuff" flows downhill? This 4yo girl is way ahead of the curve. Normally you don't learn that until boot camp.
Yes, and that's part of what makes this so obnoxious. Not only does the government have **NO BUSINESS** regulating what parents feed their children, but what the mom sent was healthier than what the government tried to feed to the child!
If government officials want to get into the healthy food stuff, go back and look at the work of the agricultural extension agents in the late 1800s and early 1900s, or the work of municipal health departments in promoting hygiene and sanitation in our major urban areas during the mass immmigration of the late 1800s. I don't have a huge problem with government officials educating kids and parents that it may not be a good idea to eat hamburgers and french fries five days a week — that's not the primary purpose of schools, but who wants to argue that we don't have a junk food problem with our kids? — but there's a huge difference between educating parents about healthier choices and trying to order parents what to feed their kids.
“Lost points, hmmm. Makes one wonder what those points represent in dollars.”
DECIMAL points, and in $1.00 vs $100,000.00
It's obvious this particular mystery spy is only one of many. I want to know how many people are holding these federal jobs, what the job descriptions are, and what the salaries and benefits are. Also if local people or college students are hired or contracted with for the snooping in local schools......or if they are DC employees flying around the country at taxpayers' expense.
There's much more to this than a lunch bag, a banana and two slices of white whole wheat bread.
I'm wondering if these "agents" are not a new layer of bureaucratic hiring......i.e. Michelle's storm troopers recently hired who are fanning out to make her food crusade look good and, by extension, further her husband's re-election campaign.
I don't think I'm too far off the beam with my speculative assumptions....something bigger than one "agent" in one school is going on and being hidden very purposefully and slickly.
But the truth will out very shortly and we'll see how widespread this lunch bag "agent" practice is.
Michelle has now assumed the reins of substantial power in her "healthy eating" crusade. She's obviously enjoying the thrill of control. It appears we're now finding out how she's wielding it with the help of an army of toadying bureaucratic minions and flying monkeys who are at her personal disposal.
From the above article, it looks like a school gets demerits in some kind of "point" system if kids bring "unhealthy" lunch bags to school. It further looks like these verboten infractions can lead to reductions in federal aid to the schools. If this is so, we're in a world of bizaare fascist micro-management and control.
Michelle's new role as Lunch Bag Czar is designed to further her husband's fascist reign. It's not as ridiculous and harmless as it may appear to many.....even though it evidently seems to be a beneficial initiative by the uneducated lumpen masses and the compliant state-controlled media.
This must have been written by the school's English teacher.
WHO authorized/initiated this INVASION OF PRIVACY/ Constitutional VIOLATION of 4th ammendment RIGHTS?
Who or Whom???
They need to forfeit their citizenship rights for this ASSAULT on CHILDREN!
This person’s name should be made public.
Also their home address.
Do you have a link for that?
it was an illegal search...... no warrant
Which means that they are in it up to their eyeballs, if not deeper.
More information on this please.
Probably a lot. I suspect that the school receives money from the state for each school lunch provided. Every bag lunch, is money lost.
This would be like the FTE (Full Time Equavalent) which determines how much money the school gets from the state, except for food not seats in chairs.
early days, but it's already HER FAULT!
A North Carolina Non-Troversy?
The TV station’s update further quotes the school district’s superintendent as saying that the child was simply instructed (it is unclear by whom, and it is unclear whether the child was first asked whether she wanted milk) to go through the lunch line to get some milk, and that the superintendent thinks “that the child became confused about what she had to do. I think the child, instead of going over and picking up the milk, I think the child, for whatever reason, thought she had to go through the line and get a school meal which, that’s not our policy.”
Call Homeland Security about a possible terrorist attack, Get them doing something useful for a change.
