Martha McSally Wants to Kick Rick Santorum

Martha McSally, the first female Air Force pilot to fly in combat who is seeking ex-Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’s seat in Arizona’s special election, blurted out in a TV interview Friday that she wanted to “go and kick him in the jimmy.”

“You know, I agree with many of the things that Rick Santorum says, but when I heard this, I really just wanted to go and kick him in the jimmy,” McSally, a Republican, said on “Fox & Friends,” referring to Santorum’s recent controversial comments about women in the military.

And if a male threatened physical violence against a liberal female (example: Nancy Pelosi), he'd have to apologize or face the wrath of the pinko media.

Sorry, tough lady, but if Santorum said that women should not be in dangerous situations in combat, then I wholly agree. The full story of Jessica Lynch has not been to well spread around. She was raped repeatedly by the muslim scum! But the feminazis tried to hide all that to pretend that nothing happened.

No women should be in combat, period. And certainly not as fighter pilots. My God! Don’t we have more respect for women than that?

Feminists, you cannot win here.

If you think women are the same as men, what are you going to do about all the girly girls who want to look pretty at the oscars? You have to let people be people. Girls are different. Men are expected to treat women with respect and women haven’t treated men with respect in decades. See any tv couple or commercial. Men are fat and dumb. See every female birthday card. It’s all about male bashing.

You cant have it both ways.

I think he makes a good point.

Do you think men are immune to a little gang rape?

Think they are not going to do it because they condemn homosexuality?

Oh how little you know of their culture, for you see, it would be the VICTIM of the gang rape who was homosexual in their eyes - not the perpetrators of it.

FOX & Friends AKA the Romney Nomination Channel, spinning again.

This individual may be fine as a combat pilot, but women in gerneal should not serve in combat roles.

There are too many psychological, biological, historical and cultural reasons why they should not, and allowing a handful of exceptions to make the rules for the majority of non-exceptions makes no sense.

But then, very little of what we see these days DOES.

Hmmm...I live in the district, and had no idea the idiot girl was running.

But I’ve despised that prissy prima donna since her days in the military, where she was treated with kid gloves and allowed to pull stunts that would have ended my career.

And as someone who made many trips to PSAB and was never allowed to go anywhere other than by plane, I had no sympathy for her whining.

Damn! I’ll be proud to go out and vote against that worthless bitch.

Thanks, Doogle, for pointing out the obvious..another blatant attempt by Politico to stir up dissension in the GOP ranks.

BTW, McSally was the lead plantiff againt the DOD order, before the Iraq war, that required that all female US military personel, when off base, even if in uniform, be required to wear the abiya..to cover their hair and faces...It caused a high stink, and was quickly repealed..

In a society based on anuclear family, which is how most societies have been basedin the past, the role of defender of that family has traditionally fallen on the male for very logical biological reasons.

Extending that to the society of the whole, the proper postion on this subject is pretty obvious.

People who argue against this have to deal with over 4,000 years of recorded history and reams of biological data.

Good luck, ,you’ll need it.

No, but she had a ton of political protection. After all, she had flown 100 hours patrolling the no fly zone over Iraq - something I had done in just 2 weeks there, once. But she was female, and I was male, so she was treated with kid gloves.

Oh...and the guys I knew who flew with her were NOT impressed by her flying, either. But she was the first female fighter pilot, so she could do no wrong...

To me, anyone who straps on a jet has "cojones"

I remember once seeing the mortality rates for those training to be fighter pilots. I'm in no way qualified to comment on a pilot's skills of ability, but no doubt you are correct that PC played a large part in her career, just as it did with first female Navy carrier pilot, who, after her death while attempting a landing, it was revealed that she should have been grounded..and indeed, had she been a male, would have been.

However, on a broader scale, , IMHO,the issue is muddied. Many are attempting to differentiate between women in the military, and women in combat. As warfare, and wars, have changed, you can't differentiate between the two. IIRC, during Desert Storm, the single gratest incident of loss of life occured when a SCUD landed on a US base, well behind the front lines, and I believe the majority of those killed were female.

Martha McSally’s emotional overreaction illustrates Rick Santorum’s point. A woman’s overreaction on the battlefield would distract from a mission.

Three reporters from the Washington Compost, the New York Slimes, and the Atlanta Urinal and Constipation walk into the Oval Office. The first reporter gets down on his knees and licks the carpet Obama walks on. The second reporter gets down on his knees and licks Obama boots. As an officer she may not be enjoying the same experience as other women in the military, although this isn't what Santorum was referring to.

Pentagon report: Sexual assault in the military up dramatically

While women comprise 14 percent of the Army ranks, they account for 95 percent of all sex crime victims.

“As warfare, and wars, have changed, you can’t differentiate between the two.”

But you can. The issue is not will women die during combat ops. They will. My oldest daughter was in the Marines, and had shells hit near her while working on planes.

But front-line duty like infantry is a whole different ball game! My ex-Marine daughter, married to ex-Marine Infantry, believes it is insanity to put women into infantry roles. When you live in the dirt for 60 days at a time, and have to fight hand-to-hand at times...that is no place for 99.9% of women.

If they had strict strength requirements, I might think otherwise. But they would cheerfully have put my 5’2”, 120 lb daughter on the front lines IF Congress said to put women into front line combat. She lifted weights daily, but she would tell you there was no way she was strong enough to handle Infantry duty.

And my son-in-law, after two tours, lost an inch in height and now has damage to his knees, shoulders, back and brain.

I was a WSO/EWO. But flight duty is not, in any way, comparable to being an infantry grunt.

“Prior to joining the family business, Jesse [Kelly] served in the United States Marine Corps. During his four years in the military, he led a squad in the Mortar Section of the 1st Battalion, 7th Marines and participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom.”

THAT is more relevant military experience that McSally had. In 2010, Jesse lost by about 1/2 of 1%. The other guy running is Frank Antenori.

“Antenori was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania and joined the Army after graduating high school in 1984. In 1987, Frank volunteered for Special Forces, commonly known as the “Green Berets.” While in Special Forces, Frank was involved in several operations of historical significance some of which notably include Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan...

In Iraq: recommended for the Silver Star and received a Bronze Star for Valor for personally destroying two armored vehicles and their crews with anti-tank missiles, another light skinned vehicle with his machine gun and disabled another with shot from his .50 caliber sniper rifle. His book “Roughneck Nine-One: The extraordinary Story of a Special Forces A-Team at War,” recounts this successful violent battle against a vastly superior force at Debecka, Iraq.”

Again, I think his experience dwarfs what McSally did.

Had a problem with lights or her eyes or something in the interview.....definitely has a chip on her shoulder wrt to women’s rights - don’t get me wrong, I think that’s fine, but I think she’d have trouble realizing not all her constituents are women. That district could do better for a challenger in my opinion.

I spent my life in fighter squadrons. Some fighter pilots were flaming assholes. McSally, according to everyone I knew who dealt with her, was one of those.

Yes, I find it hypocritical for a woman who received special treatment thru her entire career would have any business commenting on women in combat. My daughter had more relevant combat experience than McSally - USMC with a tour in Iraq.

And yes, a woman who made a career out of being a combat fighter pilot based (for most of her career) on 100 hours patrolling the no fly zone is a FAKE.

Col. Martha McSally Says She’d Like To Kick Rick Santorum “In The Jimmy”

http://youtu.be/j-VVHGfDCAI

Col. Martha McSally, a Republican candidate for former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords’ Arizona congressional seat and the first American woman to fly in combat, said on “Fox and Friends” on Friday that she’d like to kick Rick Santorum “in the Jimmy’ after hearing his comments about women serving on the front lines of combat.

“He’s totally out of touch. I mean, completely out of touch. These are the types of arguments we heard 20, 25 years ago as to why women couldn’t be fighter pilots. It’s an insult to the men and women who are serving overseas, putting their lives on the line and focusing on the mission right now.”

The kid gloves started well before she sued Rumsfeld. The very fact that she was able to leave PSAB was a sign of the kid gloves. She had done nothing to qualify her as an expert in anything, but was taken to meet political types - thus the trips off PSAB.

Do you really think female in the military are held to the same standards as men? All you need to do is look at the physical fitness requirements. Originally those physical requirements were put in place to ensure men were physically strong enough to perform in combat. To do things like carry a wounded man. If women are so equal then why the different standards. If you think it is just in the physical testing you are ignorant of what really happens in the military.

I have an aunt that passed away last October. She too, was a retired Colonel having served as an Army Nurse in both Korea and Viet Nam.

After she retired she became fairly active in the PA GOP. In 2005, when she celebrated her 80th Birthday, our family wrote members of the PA congressional delegation and asked if they would like to share in the celebration of her B-day.

Precisely ONE response was received in the form of a very personal letter copiously thanking my Aunt for her 30 years of active duty and her service to this nation.

That letter was from Senator Santorum. To say that he is against women in uniform is utterly ridiculous. My aunt would have been embarrassed by this Colonel's remarks.

My Nephew is a commander of an F-22 squadron himself. I differ greatly from your outlook. He has been in service since Desert Storm, flew countless sorties, is an “Ace”, has made several SUPER BOWL/NFL Game flybys and his comment about all the wings under his command, you won’t find one derogatory “flaming assholes” illustration in his vocabulary.

I guess that’s why he is a Colonel and has made it as far as he has. He carries a strong sense of honor, duty and respect for all who occupy the cockpit.

McSally is pretty much wrapped up in her own point of view alone, and in her one dimensional view of herself, as being both female and macho. She gives no place whatsoever to the man, or to the nature of man to defend a woman, or the natural burden a woman is to him on a battlefield, and certainly she discounts his opinion on the matter.

These selfish thinking feminists can NOT defy nature, which does the dictating here, whether McSally likes it, or not.

Why should the male soldier deserve the extra burden placed on his own human nature;that of defending some dang woman in the field, at the same time having to deal with the problems her presence can bring, nevermind her inferior physical strength. His natural inclination to defend her is in keeping with nature and can not be changed.

These women have made themselves god.
