I don’t write many vanities but I feel it necessary to write this one.
I am ticked off!!!
I’m ticked off at the ignorance and arrogance of the Conservatives and their unwillingness and/or inability to fight back against the Lame Stream Media, Rats, RINOs and Faux Conservatives.
For years now we have had to endure the establishment, in concert with the MSM, Rats, RINOs and Faux Conservatives, picking our side for us and then every time we have candidates we support then they are blocked, mocked, ridiculed and slandered.
While many Real Conservatives may not support Newt for many justifiable reasons, he did teach us a valuable lesson. He fought back! When Newt fought back against the enemies his poll numbers skyrocketed and it was only after he stopped fighting back did his poll numbers drop.
Our GOP candidates need to quit fighting amongst themselves because our system will pick out our best candidate to beat Obama. They need to fight the real enemies, Obama, the MSM, Rats, RINOs and faux Conservatives.
It’s time they stop accommodating these “journalist” that pose irrelevant and silly questions. It’s time they stop jogging around a false narrative instead of correcting the false narrative first. It’s time they call the Andrea Mitchell types out. It’s time they ask these “journalist” if they ever ask Obama the same stupid question? It’s time they ask these “journalist” why their Messiah didn’t cut the deficit in half? It’s time they call them the Liberals they are. It’s time to advise them that they know they are merely using White House talking points because they support Obama. It’s time they tell George Stephanopoulos they know he communicated with the White House before he asked the silly debate question on contraception. It’s time Conservatives tell them off!
The narrative the Lame Stream Media, Rats, RINOs and Faux Conservatives put out about “contraception” is about as bogus as they come. It has NEVER been about contraception, it’s about religious freedom as protected by our Constitution. For our candidates to NOT forcibly stamp out the false narrative in itself demonstrates they can’t or won’t fight back.
Obama once said, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun”. If our candidate won’t bring a missile they are going to lose.
Obama will win if the Conservatives don’t confront the enemies.
People really like candidates that are firm in their resolve and demonstrate a strong personality.

I agree that the left and the MSM set the time, place, agenda and even terminology of the discussion. That keeps conservatives constantly on the defensive. Gigrich seems to have noticed and has reacted in a limited way. The first thing they should do is refuse to debate on the lefts’ terms in the the lefts’ forums, like CNN and ABC.
I am so flustered right now that the Lame Stream Media continues with this fake contraception argument when it was about religious freedoms and the Constitution.
I want them to debate them but don’t let them set the terms or false narrative.

If you wish to fight back, you must first acquire the tools to do the job, or create new tools that have yet to be used.
First, significant outlets for the media must be purchased or created which are owned by people who are conservatives/Constitutionalists/originalists. Without that, there will be a constant disadvantage.
Once there is an outlet for Conservatives that is a prevalent, it will promote the willingness to appear on that media to express objections.
There needs to be Conservative news, conservative documentaries, and conservative programming to compete.
Educators must be hired that are conservative.
Politicians have to be ready to lose for the sake of expressing conservative ideas.
Law enforcement and Congress need to enforce laws that preserve the integrity of the system.
States need to establish systems that guarantee the correctness and accuracy of the vote, with prosecutions for fraud.
Finally, there need to be incentives given to entrepreneurs that laud their achievements and hold them up as moral, honest and helpful human beings.
But none of this is possible until people stop expecting society to do things for them, that they choose not to do themselves.
The system must crash before it can be rebuilt.

Conservatives can’t get out of their own way. Our team and our fans make the Bad News Bears look like liek the New York Yankees FFS.
It isn’t just the candidates that need to learn to fight. We need to take this anger to the enemy. We can start on the high road, but when they take the fight down into the mud, come prepared to get dirty. Stay on offense, always. Newt may not be the best candidate, but he’s the only one willing to call a spade a spade and fight the leftist media on their own terms.
Just fighting back on their own turf not only gets the point across but it makes the Libs look like the idiots they are.

I totally agree with you. We who support a candidate should not let the press dictate our fears. We do not have a perfect candidate in anyone nor will we ever have one. What we need is someone who is courageous and kicks the butts off the press and anyone else who is harming this country and we need to support them warts and all. I sat here and watched what the press did to Sarah. Then to Cain, then Perry, then Newt. Now Santorum. I say stand our ground and be proud. The press is going to make it up if it is not already there. Screw the press. We will trounce the other side because they keep screwing themselves with their own policies and because we have far better candidates than the other side. Whether it is Newt or Santorum, I am in all the way and I do not intend to be biting my nails with every news story. I will defend our guys and carry them across the finish line over broken glass if need be.

Apropos of nothing
There was a Chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab the Prof noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt.
The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country’s government and install a new communist government.
In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked, ‘Do you know how to catch wild pigs?’
The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line.
The young man said this was no joke. “You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence.
They get used to that and start to eat, again you continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat, you slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.
Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.
The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening to America. The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine drugs, etc. while we continually lose our freedoms just a little at a time.

GBTV is good. However, it cannot be perceived in a fight between conservatives as taking a side, or it becomes something different than what I am talking about.
I like Beck, but when he starts supporting people that I don’t agree with, it takes away from the very good things he is doing.
While this cannot always be avoided, he would have done well to take a little less strident position vis-a-vis his Newt Bashing. I don’t mind the information and the point of view, but presentation is so very important.

Rants are great but the bottom line is action not words. So what is your action plan? BTW I an just as frustrated as you.
Our candidates need to fight back, plain and simple.
Research is a great tool. Santorum would have been better when confronting Charlie Rose with the exact quote from Wright and then connect Obama to Wright. Make Rose choke on his own tongue.

There is no difference between any of the candidates, Republican or Democrat, We, the Republic, have been being denied the choice to say NO to socialism.
It’s a setup.
The fix is in.
We, the Republic, have been loosing a war of financial attrition for decades. We, the Republic are engaged in a war with those who govern us. Drastic measures are required to defeat this enemy in order to stop the bleeding that each of us are seeing in the depreciation of our savings, the constant onslaught of taxes, fees, and licenses. Each of them designed to remove our ability to live free.
If a slave is a person who works for no money, then a paid person who works with no money left for savings or investment is therefore a slave. In each case work is done, the slave is fed and roofed.
We must spread the word, at the water cooler, over the fence, while standing in a line at the store or bank. We need a grassroots party, with vetting, to make sure the party is not subverted (we’ve seen these tactics in use with Tea Parties).
We need to enroll those who love to enroll others. After ten years or so we can launch a powerful and viable third party to win back the freedom that was guaranteed to us thru the law of the land.

1. Maybe you shouldn’t support people you identify as ignorant, arrogant and without the ability to fight for your views.
2. There is no authority which defines a “real conservative”. That is a meaningless term. Also, calling the majority of Republicans RINOs is meaningless. How can the majority not be the norm? The Republican party is a moderate party, not a conservative party (That’s why I’m not a member anymore). Why haven’t conservative voters learned this by now? America is a center-left country now. There is no other explanation for the election and possible reelection of the radical Obama.
3. The media will downplay and ignore anyone who fights them, and they control the message by control of their industry. The media hammers anyone who raises their head as a conservative. The masses say they are unconvinced by media, but they are swayed, no matter what they say. Their voting patterns prove that. Electing conservatives is about stealing moderate/liberal voters, a rare thing to accomplish. Only one conservative has accomplished that without major moderation of conservative values in the last 40 years.
4. Conservative voters are a minority in America. The self-identification of voters as conservative is meaningless. We only win by diluting ourselves with moderates. It takes about 65 million votes to win a presidential election. There are not 65 million active conservative voters in America.
One thing that helped me a lot was getting rid of television in 1997. I confess that I feel like a Jew in Mid-1930’s Germany. But I’m one of the ones that left. In my case I packed up everything and left my home of 45 years, Seattle, and bought a new home on a small farm in Rural Kentucky. we can be literally self sufficient on this place. It doesn’t guarantee anything, but it mitigates risk.
The unwashed hordes from the city will have to make their way through 80 miles of people like me to get here. It tends to cull the herd.
Joe Scarborough is a faux Conservative. He switches his views depending on the audience.
I do support a candidate that has my most of my views but the reason for the rant is that he won't fight with full vigor against our enemies.
If you want to remain passive, which is what it sounds like in your post, then feel free but passive has never won an election.
and Yes, there is a definition that defines “real Conservatives”.
We always take this imaginary “high road” that hasn’t had any Left-wing traffic since the 1950’s, while the Leftists say anything they want with no rebuttal. Look at the “outrage” over Joe Wilson’s “You Lie” comment. You know what? Obama DID lie, but most Republicans are still afraid to even support Wilson’s comment.
