Skip to comments.Car Jack used to Breach Border Fence

Just about a week ago, we were given a video exposing a major breach on the U.S./Mexico border near Lukeville, Ariz. located about 100 miles southwest of Tucson.
We checked its authenticity with our sources at the Department of Homeland Security who have confirmed that the video is real and was taken recently.
Watch this distressing video that was first posted by Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever and see how, despite claims by the Administration, the border is far from secure.

Any grunt knows wire is useless unless booby-trapped, mined and covered with crew-served weapons.
No worries! It is Bush's fault
Pure Silliness. Make better fences.
It's just too hard.
I want to know who was following them around filming. They obviously started off on the Mexican side and followed them through the fence to the American side.
Where did this film come from?
Here is the link to the video.
A few tack welds on the US side would have made it harder or impossible to jack the fence section up but then other efforts would have been employed I’d guess.
That is an zero-population, GREEN environmental site.
How “authentic” is this Homeland Security film (that was so nicely released by a lefty site)?
The Democrat elite want illegal aliens as future voters.
The Republican elite want illegal aliens as cheap exploitable employees.
It's Obama's fault. It's Bush's fault (1 and 2). It's Clinton's fault. It's Reagan's fault. It's Carter's fault. etc.
I didn’t give much thought to who made it or why, to me the point was the cheap simplicity of breaching the fence, and the ability to do it unmolested by border security.
Numbersusa has always been an anti immigration site.
I don’t know who Number USA is, but how can a group that wants to reduce immigration be lefty?
They are lefty? Really? I sure never got that impression.
It’s a ZERO-immigration group, as in “Population Bomb” Lefty kind of crazy.
The man who nurtured “Numbers USA”
Dr. Tanton founded local chapters of Planned Parenthood and the Sierra Club and became the national president of Zero Population Growth. Unable to interest colleagues in fighting immigration, he formed FAIR in 1979, pledging in his proposal to make it centrist/liberal in political orientation.
A lefty site that give Santorium an A rating and Obama an F (failing) rating?
It doesn’t change the facts of what this group is about.
But they are far from a lefty site. The type of rankings are shown in greatly favoring republicans in congress and failing ratings for the majority of the Democrats.
I suspect they gave your favored candidate, (now out of the race) who was also the one I tended to favor, a really bad ranking on immigration.
Everyone who disagrees with you, is not automatically a lefty.
This site is far harder on most democrat positions, and far more approving of republican positions. You need to take off your blinders.
Garrett and Jane Hardin: A Personal Recollection (Hemlock Society adviser to Hardin on FAIR who with his wife committed suicide)
Tribute to Garrett Hardin - by John H. Tanton, M.D.
My interest in population developed in the late 1950s as I was finishing medical school. By 1975 I had been elected national president of Zero Population Growth, an organization inspired by Paul Ehrlichs book The Population Bomb. Then in the late 1970s the US fertility rate fell to below replacement, and immigration emerged as the main source of domestic population growth. To Garretts dismay, ZPG declined to address these new circumstances.
When in 1979 I helped set up the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) to tackle the immigration question, Garrett served from the beginning as an advisor. Later he consented to set aside his aversion to board meetings by joining the FAIR Board. Much of his later writing was on the demographic aspects of immigration and can be found by searching under his name in the archives of a quarterly journal of the immigration reform movement, TheSocialContract.com. The bookstore at this site offers for sale three of Dr. Hardins books that the Social Contract Press reprinted: Stalking the Wild Taboo; Mandatory Motherhood: The True Meaning of the Right to Life; and Creative Altruism: Source and Survival. Also available is his The Immigration Dilemma: Avoiding the Tragedy of the Commons, published by FAIR.
It is hard to see ones friends and people we admire decline physically to the point where they decide to exit this vale of tears felo de se. Garretts post polio syndrome had reduced him to using a wheel chair; he could no longer swim well. Macular degeneration cost him the reading vision in his right eye. Life in a nursing home was not an option for this man of letters. Jane had been diagnosed with ALS - amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Lou Gehrigs disease, one of the least desirable ways to leave this planet. It worsened. Both were long time members of the Hemlock Society, and decided to take matters into their own hands. This can give us a lot to think about, especially as our own infirmities come to the fore - and since my wife and I live in a state that counts Dr. Jack Kievorkian among its citizens.
I have not attacked you personally, so I would appreciate the same consideration.
But regardless of its origins, they are not a lefty site. They promote conservatives and criticize liberal positions in regards to immigration.
So what? What is your hang up about this anti-immigration video?
What is bothering you about illegals being captured on film breaking into America?
Ending mass immigration, and especially illegal mass immigration is noble.
I came here when I saw the title and then saw who was putting out the information — Numbers USA and Homeland Security.
Sorry to have invaded your world.
That is a very rugged and strong “Sheep Herder’s” jack, (AKA Handyman or Hi-lift jack) not some cheap bumper jack.
We use those jacks to pack 100lb tobacco bales
Great for changing front tires on 150 hp tractors
Definitly not your ordinary car jack but still
crazy how easy to bypass that fence
Early voted today for Santoram..No O in `12
Sure you don’t have Numbers USA confused with another group?
