Sharonda Cheeves and Jesslyn Williams got into trouble because they were drunk and disorderly, got ejected from a North Philadelphia nightclub, and just wouldn't go home.
On Thursday, they couldn't go home. Cheeves, 24, and Williams, 23, were each sentenced to multiyear prison terms for hitting six people - killing one - as they circled Club Motivation four times in their Chevrolet Monte Carlo on Sept. 4, 2010, picking off patrons on the sidewalk.
"I know you don't know me, so you don't know that's not who I am," a weeping Williams told Kadella Davis, who as "Mama Breakfast" hosted a weekly dance party for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people at the club.

Judge Benjamin Lerner sentenced Cheeves - who was driving when the car hit and killed 27-year-old Alisha Moore - to four to eight years in prison and a $1,000 fine. Cheeves will be on two years of probation when released. Williams, who got out of the car before its fourth and fatal lap around the bar, was sentenced to two to four years in prison and three years of probation, and fined $2,000.

Worked at a Repair Depot for DEC back in the 70’s. They were over represented among the Techs and Assemblers. Monday morning they would come into work looking they were at Gettysburg. And Heaven help the girl who’s Butch controller thought they were flirting with one of the guys.

Gays can be quite violent towards each other. Current culture tends to inhibit male-on-female violence, but those restraints to not apply to women-women or men-men violence.

I did once and never went back.
8 years for the driver and 4 years for the passenger.
Obviously the judge doesn’t hold homosexual lives in the same regard as those of straight people.

Maybe they had their driver's licenses suspended also.
Reading the details, this seems like 2nd degree murder. Clearly the driver intended to harm people and one was killed. Four to 8 years is a travesty.
If she had shot 7 people and killed one, she’d being doing life, and the moonbats would be calling for stricter gun control laws.

Triple protected class: black/gay/women. It was a plea bargain: lenient sentence in exchange for guilty plea, women had no priors.
