Sure was, onyx. Rick grew up in an old-school Methodist church, and is sometimes called a 'Methodist' - but during his terms as governor, he's been going to 'Lake Hills' (basically a Southern Baptist church which has taken on a 'non-denominational' approach.)
Rick is a 'by the bible' kind of guy. He's been quite vocal about that, which all of us have been quite happy to hear. Those pastors that didn't endorse Perry are obviously part of the now-long-term discredited 'mainstream.' They'll face a far greater judgement for that.
