Careful there.

“Stanford has always had the rep that if you got in, and your parents could pay the tuition, you would always graduate.”

All highly selective schools have a very low drop out rate. You might be interested to know that the retention rate at Stanford is 98% and at Berkeley it’s 97%. So does that ‘argument’ come down to parent envy?

“Stanford has had the rep pf never giving a grade lower than a “B” ...”

Utter nonsense. One would think that Berkeley alum would be too smart to buy into that kind of absurd urban/campus legend. But, apparently, one would be wrong.

That morphing photo in #14 is CREEPY!

I’ve always thought Chelsea looked strange, as she doesn’t seem to share any of Bill Clinton’s features.

This "writer" is in no shape to criticize Chelsea Clinton's journalistic expertise.

Clinton presented the reading program at the school and "collaboration" with a nearby public school as big news -- if not without precedent.

Why is "collaboration" in scare quotes, when he's using it for its obvious meaning? Doesn't he know that the charter school is a public school? Why the dash before the final phrase? All it needs is a comma.

She never really documented the extent of that collaboration from the point of view of the public school administration.

Garbledegook. Stop using "really" as your go-to adverb: it doesn't add anything. And "once again," all the schools under discussion are public schools.

Once again, she took the words of the people she chose to champion without presenting anyone critical of them.

What liberal "journalist" doesn't? And what is the antecedent of "them"? Is it "words" or "people"?

And if you have a child in public schools, you don't need me to tell you there is unanimity of opinion on no program that is truly innovative.

Take this sentence out and shoot it, and then lock the writer up in a room with Chelsea Clinton and no alcoholic beverages.

.... I guess a degree from Stanford ain’t what it used to be ....

Did she ever actually get a degree?

Or am I accurately informed that she has just hung out at the universities she has so far visited — but has not “attended?”

With a trust fund rumored to be approaching a net Five Billion Dollars, though, must be a bit hard to find any motivation down there on Earth?

I seem to remember reading that Slick attended her graduation.
