FNC’s Joy Lin snapped these pictures of two “chickens” at a rally for Speaker Newt Gingrich in Peachtree City, Georgia. One is wearing a Romney shirt and the other a Santorum shirt…note the signs they are holding.

It only takes ONE to turn on the light switch.

Newt will be stellar.

Rick is as conservative as Ron Paul. One is liberal socially and conservative fiscally, the other vice versa.

Newt is the ONLY TRUE conservative in the race.

It’s also quite hilarious how simply quoting your favored candidate is considered an “attack.” That would seem to indicate your candidate has genuine flaws you would prefer not be exposed.

As we eat our own, 0bama laughs his ass off.....I'm getting pretty damned sick of this site's members joining happily into the fray.

I'm seeing a bunch of short-sighted idiots, and I'm more than pissed about it all. If I hadn't made my quarterly in the first couple of days, I'd probably be seriously rethinking it.

->>Not a very effective fundraising strategy to attack one of the 2 remaining conservatives still in the race and supported by a good number of FReepers.

This is exactly why we always get the worse candidates; we have to be told to settle for anyone who can (might) win who will not rebut the status quo. if these guys are weak, why should we circle them: they should be able to withstand anything/look, Obama will not let them skip a debate. Rick is getting anyone but the Romney vote, that kind os platform cannot carry us through the general.

I made 2 donations recently, the owner of this web site didn't make me do that. Don't you like free speech and liberty.

Well, Newt’s already damaged goods and once you’ve helped destroy Santorum, you’ll be left with Romney or Paul. How’s that gonna work out for ya?

Do you think I couldn't find quotes from Newt to match any you can post from Santorum? I don't play that way. I don't believe it does us any good to help the opposition - whether it's Romney or Obama.

Right now I have a choice between Rick and Newt. I think Santorum is the better candidate, but if it comes down to it and I have to settle for Gingrich, I'll do so without much reservation.

I wish the Gingrich supporters could see that Santorum is not the enemy. Romney must be defeated first and then Obama.

Saint Rick doesn’t have the platform that actually gives me a reason to think happy thoughts on his behalf though. If he at least was offering something, maybe a fair tax, a flat tax, privatization of SS, an oath to tear down every single lib Government department, I’d seriously think twice about it.

His platform is tepid, just like he is a tepid conservative. The social/religious platform isn’t worth embracing mediocrity.

Saint Rick...

We complain about the quality of men/women who run and are elected to office - ie...they lie, they cheat, they steal, they live immoral lives! Yet when someone of good character comes along they are ridiculed for trying to live up to those standards.

Note: This is not in any way a criticism of Newt. I believe in repentance and forgiveness. My problems with Newt are in other areas.

You misunderstood my use of ‘Saint Rick’. I called him that because he tries too hard to depict himself as that. He runs on social and religious issues. He claims to be the “true conservative” in the race. Hence, “Saint Rick”.
