Chelsea Clinton is close to signing another deal with NBC, despite criticism of her reporting.
Clinton is nearing the end of a 90-day contract as an NBC News special correspondent, where she contributes to the Making a Difference segments that air during Rock Center With Brian Williams.
While her reports have been tepidly received by critics, sparking strong rumors and reports she would not sign again, sources tell us NBC plans to keep her involved with the network.

I love it for the sole reason it ticks off the liberal elitists in the MSM. “Waaah! What are her qualifications?” Fool, a child could do your job.
Tepidly received reports on a tepid show. She fits in well.
LOL...Looks like FReepers are leaving the comments there...Some good ones. :)
Here’s Chelsea’s problem. Her parents know she needs to be a good communicator to be a good politician. They see this as a square to fill on her way to being a Senator. I think Chelsea through her easy life and never wanting anything is extremely lazy. She’s just another slacker of her generation that believes she’s entitled to lofty jobs and positions without doing any work or paying any dues. She’s just another liberal like the Kennedy’s with connections but, with no skills or capabilities. She should exit the limelight and realize her shortcomings and try to live a normal life. If she doesn’t she’s going to lead a miserable depressing life.
In her first appearence on NBC, she wore enough lipstick to be confused with the Joker.
I hope that she does lead a miserable, depressing, long, and painful life. And spends eternity with Ted Kennedy.
Chelsea is just a pawn in “post capitalist” (i.e. fascist) America. NBC hires her as a “protection” payment to the government. It’s a lovely example of what Ayn Rand called “The Aristocracy of Pull”.
Uh Oh, somebody got a phone call from the Sec. of State.
NBC hired her as a protection payment to the ‘Rat overlords, yet the tequila-swilling, Guns n Roses loving Chelsea thinks she got the NBC job on her own merit.
Plastic surgery? Paper bag? What’s their solution?
I think one of the best kept secrets about Chelsea is she’s an idiot. She wrote an article several years ago for a magazine about her experiences on 9/11 that was absolutely hilarious it was so badly written. She has never written another one since. Think about it. How many times has she been interviewed on TV once she became an adult? The Clintons kept her out of the public eye because she’s a moron. If NBC uses her, it will only be when she can read a script and nothing more.
Check out Maxine Waters........ she has had massive work and is no longer required to wear he bag in public
Did you notice how fashionably she was dressed, during her “Republicans are demons!” tirade?
Her years in Congress have paid off for her and her hubby.
She definitely in the 1% now—but her poor black district is in love with her.
My favorite “comment”:
Vanity Fair once called her “The next JFK Junior”..Her career is crashing faster than his plane did.
When I see that picture, I think Web Hubbell
If they fire her they have to face Hillary.
“try to live a normal life”
I agree with your evaluation of Chelsea but “try to live a normal life”? What is a normal life in this day anyway? After being raised by such a village as Bill and Hillary provided for her and in all likelihood calling someone her father who is not really her father and possibly knowing that to be true herself, isn’t asking her to live a normal life like asking a pig to fly?
Just goes to prove that it’s not what you know, it’s who you blow, oops, strike that, know!
You’re right, nothing will ever be normal around her. Maybe I should have said private live. I never want to see or hear about her again unless she cures cancer or establishes world peace.
Didn't she already have "work" done?
Not that I pay attention, but I probably came across it on a Page Six reference years ago.
LOL, why didn’t you say until pigs fly? That might actually happen some day.
“The problem with socialism and its near cousins is that it places the selection of winners and losers (even if called industrial policy) in the hands of the status quo, who quite naturally will put their friends and family first in line.”
