And so right!
We could do with a bit less sensitivity.
Let those who mourn, mourn all that there is to mourn.
Sophomoric rant....
Blah, blah, blah
Personally, I would like to wait for the Tox report before I would criticize her life style. Even then, who am I to judge?
God uses all manner of people. I agree that it was inappropriate of Christie to lower the flag to half mast. I do want to share a story I read in our local paper that a woman here listened to one of Houston’s songs over and over after her fiance was shot in a random shooting at a suburban shopping center. The song brought her back to God. A lot of people did have that connection with Houston I believe. At my Al-Anon meeting I felt that. Weakness is something God uses for His own purpose.
And drugs are demonic! Like all Satan's toys, they may seem pleasurable at first but they quickly move to bind your hands and feet...and mind.
Very well said
While I agree with you that we should, it doesn’t take the fact out that she was hooked on drugs though.
Don’t get all this adulation, but then I never do when a celebrity dies. I don’t even know these people personally.
Using drugs is a choice. If it’s true, dieing from drugs was her choice. No sympathy.
Ah, the uneducated and ill-informed in our GREAT NATION. It’s like the people who wear Che Guevara t-shirts. They have no idea. Honoring Whitney, a crack smoking alcoholic is tantamount to honoring the socialist Che Guevara.
I’m sorry...that should read, “MARXIST”
Amen to your post Kaslin. I was disappointed but not surprised that Fox news and the other media abandoned their responsibity to report the news on Saturday and covered the Houston funeral like it was a head of state. Then they reported on how they covered it.
Kinda like idols with feet of clay.
Can’t take the truth when it slaps ya in the face?
” Even then, who am I to judge?”
Don’t fall for the Leftist use of the word ‘judge’. Knowing right from wrong is not ‘judging’.
My money’s on nothing but good old fashinoed All American 100% Legal Prescription Drugs and Alcohol. Meaning her death wasn’t all that bad, you betcha.
“Knowing right from wrong is not judging.”
CORRECT!
I have no idea what happened with Ms. Houston’s immortal soul after she died; she knows and God knows. And not having all the information that God has, I will not speculate as to what she deserves in the afterlife.
However, I can say that her behavior was wrong. Heck, the LAW says her behavior was wrong. Last time I checked, it was still against the law to purchase and use such drugs.
