Pow!
Damn misfire! The KIDO feed is not working!
Apparently! lol
Ahh there it goes!
The feed is working now.

FReepmail to get On/Off Gun Talk pinglist

Yup, it was a hangfire.
BANG!
BRB
Both would ruin a home invaders day. LOL
Most likely LOL
Actually I prefer the 12 ga for home defense.
Good ol Saiga 12
Howdy 50!
Did you figure out how to take that thing apart yet?
Yeah, that’s pretty much how my day started.
Howdy fellas!!
Well they were $289 with free shipping on several sites
I tried like 3 sites and couldn't place an order.
Frustrated, I called Mickey out at Ammo Depot and asked if he had one in stock.
He said yeah, I have one left.
I said what you asking for it?
He said, "for you..$285?
I love Ammo depot
now I'm the proud owner of "the quality goes in before the name goes on"
saved a few sheckles too..
Yeah, its kind of a chinese puzzle.
It’s way over engineered.
I don’t ever want to go there.
Video out of Germany. This guy could do a Mad Minute if the targets kept coming in.
http://www.natuxo.com/videos-chasse/sauer-202-84169.html
My dad had one of those while serving in Korea in a tank unit.
I remember him telling me about looking at the receiver and seeing that it was stamped “American Tin Can Company”.
I got distracted, is this guy saying they can mold ay kydex and make like a crossbreed holster?
Whats the website?
Thats a whole lot of sausage Mmmm Hmmm..
I am kinda surprised by this caller wanting to do a trigger job on the LC9.
The main thing that made me buy one is that the trigger is excellent.
It’s a long draw but its light and consistent.
Hi mylife. How’s every little thing?
In my (endless) search for a good holster for my CZ 97B, I ran across this thing: http://www.opticsplanet.net/fobus-ankle-holster-ankle-walther-pps-ppsa.html
An ankle holster for that hand cannon? In the meantime I found a Safariland paddle that I like, but I’m wondering if you have any wisdom on this.
I see myself as hopping `Chester’ on Gunsmoke (if you’re old enough to remember that character) with that Fobus carry arrangement. Thanks in advance.
What’s a good price for an LC9?
(Academy has them for $359.99)
They are a hoot!
The 9mm sterling shoots like a 22 and will do 200 yards, but it is heavy
That’s a little high.
I paid $325.
Mickey told me they cost him $300
On black friday Academy was selling them for $275
I went to the gun show last week and didn’t see anyone selling them that cheap. I think one guy had them for about $350 - cash only price.
I like the positive retention of that kydex but I cant vouch for that holster.
I have a open Carry fobus paddle that I like, but I dont use it because its open carry
I hear good things about the crossbreed holster and the holster you are showing me seems to be along that design
It’s a good little pistol.
I retired the S&W 442 airweight.
Better trigger better sights more capacity, same size.
It does weigh a skosh more.
I like it.
I bought a 9mm Wolf conversion barrel for the G27 and it worked so well I tried a Storm Lake .357SIG and and a 10mm for the G30, and it was fantastic! I can't really tell a difference between .357SIG from 40cal S&W but it may have had a little less recoil. The 10mm was also maybe a little less a hand smacker than .45 ACP but not much. All in all they were hand smackers, I'm sticking with the 9mm Wolf, it was a joy to fire afterward.
It is nice you can turn 2 guns into 5 for less than the price of one. If ammo gets scarce my odds of finding any are pretty good now.
BTW Gun talk wasn’t posted last week because FR was just being impossible to use.
The Safariland 5188 paddle holster I bought is for a SIG, but is a good fit for the gun, and my hip, so I’m calling it good.
The ankle holster, think I’m going to pass. It’s rare to see anything specifically designed for this CZ .45 though.
For some reason, it was a reload anyway.
Thanks. I have a High Noon `skin-tite’.
357 sig is a hoot!
Its barkin bitch
I love 40 SW
I have never shot 10mm.
I imagine its a bit unwieldy.
Can you tell the difference between 357sig and 40cal?
From what that earlier guy on the show was saying, kydex can be worked to anything easily.
This could be a good business opportunity as I haven't seen crossbreed style holster molded to most of the guns I prefer.
I don't carry a glock, its just to fat for me to conceal.
Ive said this before, the CZ 82 is just perfect for me, but nodody makes a decent holster for it.
The LC9 can ride in my pocket without a holster.
Huh! I didnt think I was a reload.
Ah well
I picked up a couple good Bianchi holsters (with retention systems) on Cheaper than Dirt (gone now, sorry) for my Ruger SR9, and learned that Safariland bought Bianchi.
Safariland has some new kydex holsters that will fit similar models, but only in 9 mm or .40 that I could see. Believe you can check them out at the Opticworld site I provided above. They might have something that will work for your 82. Yeah, CZs are tough to fit. Czech prima donnas ...
I’m carrying my Ruger LC9 in a High Noon pocket holster, but not sure I need it for trousers, may start using it for jacket carry only.
Huevos Rancheros!
Not to mention it was a reload, to boot. Finally have a chance to sit down and Freep a bit. Been doing a fair impersonation of a headless chicken. Start a new gig tomorrow and the hours are hellacious (80+/week) so this will be the last GT for me for at least three weeks.
