TULSA, Okla. - While discussing the threat of Iran today to a crowd of about 4,000 people at Oral Roberts University, Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich said that defeating Barack Obama was "in fact, a duty of national security."
"Because the fact is, he is incapable of defending the United States," Gingrich said.
Gingrich told the crowd, many of them young students, there was a real threat of an American city being wiped out. Gingrich said the Obama administration refuses to acknowledge radical Islamists.
"All of you should be very deeply concerned about national security. Barack Obama is the most dangerous president in modern American history," Gingrich said.

I was there. It was fantastic. Suprised that they would state the real numbers. Newt had a full 1 min. or more, of a standing `O’ when he came on stage and many more throughout the speach. He really reached out to the young folk there and was greatly recieved. Exciting to say the least.......

The arena was much smaller, so I would say only about 300 attended, but all were very enthuestistic and excited, a few standing ovations, but lots of clapping.
He is now off the AZ. for the debate.

Although, I’m an ardent Newt supporter, I think it’s worth hearing and seeing Rick on the issues regardless of the campaign. He brings forth many salient points with a tremendous amount of insight. I laud the virtues of his rhetoric.
