Me too and if things don’t go our way this time I am more than ready to blame Rick Perry.

I’m totally serious on both counts.

I also think Romney would have been a better candidate (or nominee maybe I should say) in 2008 than McCain was then, or than Romney himself is this time.

If Giuliani had won the nomination in 2008, he'd be up for re-election right now. And Clinton may well have been his opponent. Part of the appeal of Obama last time was that he was so much younger than McCain.

And a lot of people on this website would have been shocked to discover how conservative he could look if he wasn't answering only to ultra-liberal NYC voters.
