Newt Gingrich started his campaign by speaking about bold, positive ideas to solve the problems facing our country. Unfortunately, Governor Romney decided from the beginning of his campaign he was going to tear down any conservative candidate, which stood up in opposition to him.

Romney’s fingerprints are all over the attacks on Sarah Palin, Bachmann, Perry, Cain, Newt, and NOW Rick Santorum. It is very telling that the attacks are always against whoever is closest to Romney in the polls, on the eve of a caucus or a Primary, and nearly always of a salacious nature.
As soon as the perceived threat is eliminated, the accusations seem to fade into obscurity.
It’s pretty transparent. Thoughtful Republicans and Conservatives are starting to hate Romney nearly as much as they hate Obama.

We have to understand Romney’s psyche mind. He’s running from president since he was elected governor of Massachusetts. The ONLY reason he wanted to be governor, was to use it as a catapult for building up a political career, in order to reach the White House. He sold his soul to Ted Kenedy and his payback was “Romneycare”, the template for Obamacare.

So this guy put in dozens of millions dollars from his own pocket (estimated at $40 million) in 2008, and ... lost to McCain.
Romney has continued to run for presiden ever since and was determined “to kill” any other candidate who took the lead in the race. After his defeat in South Carolina, his campaign chief of staff declared, before Florida primary: “It’s not about winning anymore, but about DESTROYING GINGRICH”. And that’s what they did in Florida with over 13,000 nasty, untruthful, pejorative ads.

so, Gingrich directing his speeches against zer0 on Tuesday, Levin talking about doing just that Tuesday evening. Only one conclusion I come to: Great minds think Alike!

I hope, though, that by trying to put himself above the negative fray tonight between Romney and Santorum he doesn't just stand there like in the last debate.
Well, he knows it’s like NEWT’S LAST STAND tonight so I imagine he’ll take FULL advantage of every chance they give him. I just hope he gets to speak at all!

GINGRICH: It’s good to be with you and I thought that Governor Palin was exactly right at the end when she said, we ought to be taking on the Obama anti-American Energy Program , we should tie it back to National Security, which indicate why we’re for drill here, drill now, pay less. And why we think it’s essential both for our economy and for our security to get back to an American energy program that is designed to maximize our own production, the opposite of Obama.
HANNITY: Especially what you see happening now with Israel and Iran, and I’m going to get to that in a second. Let me go to what we’ve first played of you about saying about the president, the most dangerous president in modern American history. It’s got a lot of press. Explain.
GINGRICH: Well, this is a president who refuses to recognize who is trying to kill us. The FBI spends a year setting up somebody who is a Moroccan would-be terrorist who wants to bomb the capitol, but under the Obama administration rules, you can’t explain what motivates him. You can’t explain why he is inspired to do it, you can’t use radical Islamists, you can’t describe the network he belongs to. And I think there’s a desperate effort on the part of Obama and his administration to avoid reality. You now have the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt threatening to end the peace treaty with Israel, threatening to seek a nuclear weapon, you have the Pakistani’s, we now know for sure, protected bin Laden for years, and they didn’t arrest the people who were protecting them, they arrested the man who helped us find him. Again and again, you find that the Obama administration fails to meet the challenges. They are doing nothing effective about Iran. And if anything, they are undermining and cutting the aid to Israel to develop the anti-ballistic missile system that would protect Israel from Iranian and other rockets. So, look at his defense budget, which is going to weaken American defenses everywhere. It is going to lead to very substantial cuts in our capability, and I think it’s something we should all be very worried about.
HANNITY: Last question, this is going to be the last debate before Super Tuesday. Obviously, I would assume you want more debates. Are you concerned that this may be the last debate?
GINGRICH: We are going to find ways to communicate with the American people. I like debating. I think debating is good for the country. It gives us a chance to communicate without editing by the news media. It happens to be particularly good for me.
But if the other guys are afraid to debate, which makes you wonder how they would ever stand up to Barack Obama, that’s fine. I will find other ways to communicate to the American people with or without their debating.
It’s possible to ride this horse to the White House. It links to jobs, EPA, National Security, deficits etc.

This primary is all about shutting down and shutting out Newt Gingrich.
Why? Because Newt Gingrich feared, and therefore, hated.

I was listening to Rush for a bit and he played part of one of Reagan's 1983 speeches. In it, Reagan said the word "God" something like 8 times. He was magnificent in his defense of religion and optimitic (as usual) about our country. It was very uplifting. I truly didn't appreciate Reagan's speeches at the time (of course, I had a 3 year old and a newborn!)
If I were running for president, I run an ad with one of Reagan's speeches like this one and then come on and just say, "Yeah, what he said!" LOLOLL! Nobody said things better!
