This is a serious question. Our very liberties are at stake and my sense is that Americans either: a. do not understand the system of government called for by our Constitution or b. have opted to scrap the Constitution and want a communist form of government. Why else would they vote for Obama?
Which do you think it is, or are their other explanations?
He didn’t campaign as a “Communist”, so the sheeple believed him. Now they know better. End of story!

There’s a small vocal minority who actually does want a communist government, and a great many who simply don’t care.
Many of those that voted for him in 2008 did not know what they were voting for.
Now that he is revealed with a record, it will be those voting for him this fall that support socialism.

I don’t know any 0bama0 voters who regret voting for him. All the ones I know, mostly family and coworkers, will vote for him again - enthusiastically, I might add.

Not only did he not run as a communist. He didn't run on any solid platform at all. His entire campaign was based on some vague notion that he would "make things better" and "inspire hope". If a Republican ever tried to run a campaign like that, they would be nailed to the wall for not providing specifics.

People have been taught communism is fair and just. They either don’t care if we become communist, don’t understand what it actually means or actually believe it will be an improvement. In addition, people have become tribalistic. They want their tribe to win and, even if they lose, they want to hurt the *other* tribes.
Bush derangement syndrome, Iraq, ‘hope’, ‘change’, ‘first black president’, and ‘first cool hip president’ were the reasons.

It just proves there are a lot of stupid people in this country, and the press lies their ass off for him. The republicans are too much a coward and won’t or didn’t challenge him....I started to call them the empty scrotums of Washington....
The answer is A.
Nearly everyone who voted for him had no idea that he was an abject Marxist/Communist. Most of them have also been dumbed down sufficiently, that even those who did have an inkling that he was (at least) a Socialist, didn't believe that to be a bad thing.
Naturally, there are some Obama voters who fit the profile of both A and B.

I used to believe that lowering the voting age to 18 was right, but 0bama proves that wrong. How many votes did he get because MTV told teenagers it was the "cool" thing to do?
Agreed. Many voted for him due so as not to be seen as racist. Many voted for him, because they thought he was going to see to it that the “government” would pay for everything they need, and they would not have to worry about working or paying taxes. (Many of them were right.)

Some don’t even know what it means... all they know is that they are unemployed and birth control is going to be free now! I’m serious! I was talking to someone I have not visited with in a long time and when I mentioned Greece I was shocked to find that she didn’t know a thing about it, had not seen the riots, the buildings burning, not a thing! She’s living in a hole somewhere, and she LOVES Obama...
