POLL: If Obama Is Indeed a Communist, Does This Mean Americans Wanted A Communist Government?
VANIT | 02-22-2012 | Veritas2002

This is a serious question. Our very liberties are at stake and my sense is that Americans either: a. do not understand the system of government called for by our Constitution or b. have opted to scrap the Constitution and want a communist form of government. Why else would they vote for Obama?

Which do you think it is, or are their other explanations?

Obama presented a blank slate, using vague but soothing words like 'fairness', 'hope', and 'change', and presented generalities while not filling in any blanks. The media were complicit in presenting the image, a blank slate that people wrote in what they wanted, and it worked, especially after years of Bushhate and presenting everything the Bush administration did as wrong.

I doubt many of the people who voted for him knew much about him except that he was (half) black, and promised to change things.

Few, when they are dissatisfied (even if they don't really know why they are) view change as anything but better than their current lot, and so they voted for him.

That is only going to work this time around with the terminally stupid, pro-black racists, and those who have something to gain by Obama's reelection (the parasite class and the unions come to mind).

Hopefully, enough people realize he was a definite change, but for the worse.

Obama didn’t get elected because he’s a communist. He got elected because there are to many knuckledraggers in this country with white-guilt.

They didn’t want a communist government. A dying MSM wanted a communist government because it gives them relevance and plays to their communist learnings in J School.

The American People are RETARDED! No offence to special people because they have more sense in their little finger then most voting Americans have. I am sorry the media lied so much to the American Sheeple about Bush and the Republicrats in 2008 and they eat up the Hope and Change thing. Now we are stuck with a closet Fag, Commie and moron, who is not so much a moron but a calculated evil man.. JMO

IMHO it’s a little bit of both. People have not learned from history because we entrusted government to teach it to us.

Just like a Catholic school would be very pro Catholic, a Jewish school very pro Jewish or a Muslim school would be very pro Muslim.... a government school will be very pro government is solution to all your worries in life.

God’s law (aka Universal) of Supply is the reason why Socialism and Communism fails every time it has been tried. Just like the law of gravity you cannot over come it. I don’t how many times you jump off a cliff you will fall.

Another example is a child (the people) looking at the pretty color of the stove (Socialism/Communism), thinking it will not burn them (Law of Supply).

The child thinks, “It so pretty I want to touch it. Maybe it will not burn me this time?”.

The DNC, CPUSA
The Mass Media (CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, etc.)
ACORN
Colleges of Liberal Arts in most colleges and Universities
Most Unions

When you talk to some people, or see surveys and polls, it’s clear that many don’t understand much about our system and our politics.

Many people don’t know who their congressman or senator is.

Many people mistakenly say that America is a democracy, when in fact we are a constitutional republic. That nuance is lost on a lot of people.

On specific issues, some people are clearly lost.

Some think that “separation of church and state” means that nothing can be said about religion by public officials in any way. Some think that this separation means that we have to tear down crosses off of mountain tops, if a cross is on public land, or land that was once public land. They think that no prayer of any kind can ever be said in a public place or public school. And that doing so violates the rights of everyone who doesn’t share that belief.

Some, esp. liberals, think that the Supreme Court illegally decided the 2000 presidential election. I’ve heard more than one liberal say the Supreme Court stepped in, and made the final decision, without any legal authority to do anything. In reality, the Court was responding to lawsuits which had been filed, by both Democrats and Republicans, regarding recount procedures in Florida, but this nuance is lost on many liberals.

Some, esp. liberals, think that Roe vs. Wade means that no state or federal law is permitted on the subject of abortion, and decry any such laws as “chipping” away at an unalienable constitutional right.

And there are other examples, but you get the idea.

The Boy is not a communist. He is a more Marxist, a European socialist. His regime aims for totalitarian government but not collectives of industrial or agricultural workers. The workers, not the stockholders will control in his vision of a fair world.

There have been several American communist like sects with large followings and for a time fairly successful communes. The Boy does not espouse the Amana colony or locally the Shekinah collectivism that is communism. They are all failed and resurrected as corporations.

30% probably want communism. The other 25% that voted for him are gullible idiots.

a) Every interview with the ‘man-in-the-street’ indicates that many if not most US citizens do not understand the Constitution.
b) Likewise, every poll taken indicates that a substantial number of US residents want benefits from the government which are both un-Constitutional and socialist in nature.
Further, you forgot reason c). Many participants in the last election voted for Obama precisely because he was the first African American candidate; either because he ‘looked like them’ or to show how open minded they were.

It doesn’t mean Americans wanted a Communist Gov’t.
But, schools are so far dummied down that no one who graduated in the last few decades (AND who was all the while saturated with pro Communist BS) would know a Communist candidate for what he was if their lives depended on it!

I doubt “O” supporters could even spell Communism much less discern the difference between Communism and Capitalism. THEY are just interested in who will provide the most freebies.

This is ALWAYS the way Communism is forced on people.

This has been my (sad) conclusion.

Some say he didn’t “campaign” as a socialist/commie/America hater. Well, his record was there for all to see, and not enough people seemed to care. Jeremiah Wright should have been enough for people to say, he’s not for me. Let alone his Senate voting record.

We got the President the majority wanted. Some didn’t care, some voted for him because they wanted to prove we are a post-racist country, and some just want European socialism with plenty of social liberalism mixed in.

It saddens me, but I think that is the plain truth of it. America voted for this man. It makes me ashamed of being an American, frankly.

I live in the most conservative county (Okaloosa) in Florida. Last week, our local paper published a letter I wrote saying that Obama had appointed avowed communists to posts in his administration. I accused the education system of not teaching that communism and socialism were evil.

The negative comments about my letter astounded me.

“Bush derangement syndrome, Iraq, ‘hope’, ‘change’, ‘first black president’, and ‘first cool hip president’ were the reasons.”

But he is still polling at 42%. . .

These people are the product of the public education system, and from what I see, it is not getting better.

State schools, by their very existence, implicitly support the central fallacy of socialism - that the state can identify the public good and then deliver it more justly than the market.

In practise, of course, the state cannot help but pervert schooling to support its own agenda, the central part of which is recognition of state supremacy in all important things.

Despite the literature, all real-world socialism is national socialism, so yes, people support socialism, so long as it’s not called Communism and it’s run by Americans.

Yes, americans are voting in communists and those that will eventually kill Gods children, it’s thier hatred for them that causes them to vote that way, they wouldn’t admit it, but that’s just the way it is ...

Communists operate and have always operated using the cloak of deception to further their gains. Disinformation, long used by the Soviets, is a tried and true tactic that is one of their tools. A very effective one that was used in the 2008 election.

What percentage of the voting public do you suppose went through high school after the fall of the Berlin Wall? I think part of the problem is that during the Bush 41 and Clinton years, many schools stopped treating Communism as a "bad thing" in the history classes.

The "dumbing-down" was already under way, but as the Socialists increasingly wormed their way into the classrooms, they twisted this topic. Ultimately, Communism was presented as just another option, in no way inferior to our capitalist, constitutional Republic. And that was just for starters; we all know that since then, it has gotten much worse.

We should not be surprised that an entire generation doesn't view Communism as a threat. They've been taught to embrace it - and we allowed this to happen.
